You forgot to put on "Batman Begins" Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman is insane in that movie. It's so inspiring too, how he turns from a spoiled rich boy to a sefless hero. I don't know why but "American Psycho" and "Fight club" really influenced me, it showed the true nature of people.

American Psycho, definitely needs to be at the top of the list. Just act like him.

Lord of War is a good one for men. as is The Godfather. can't leave out Closer.

when harry met sally is still great on christmas.

and Shopgirl is fantastic.

Rushmore is great for laughing and crying and sobbing out, "it's so true... it's sooo true..."

A movie that inspires you to live life to your full potential - Good will hunting
Movies about what maketh a man - war movies.. tons of these, saving private ryan, band of brothers(not a movie but it really shows you the meaning of courage honour bravery and camaraderie). Also inspirational are sports based movies, like remember the titans or miracle. I have so many more, just too many to name.

I can't believe no one went and mentioned the Tao of Steve...

^^2 awesome films^^ Tao of steve will give u the complete mindset, as will hitch These films need to be switched off about 20mins before the end as they all end like a chick flick.

Swingers however, is brilliant and faultless.

Boiler room is a great movie
Boiler room is a great film for a confidence pick up.

i believe that American History X needs to be in there, as do all 3 die hard films why has nobody mentioned MClean?

Parts of when Harry met Sally are brilliant, again, however your need to switch off towards the end becuase like most films there is a chicks happy ending

One fil that hasnt been mentioned, is Tigerland. dont know if anybody has seen this but the character played by colin farrel in this has the right mindset for a DJ this is an extremley influential war film.

I have noticed with the majority of Gangster films, and fightclub the guy that were supposed to have the mindset of dies. maybe we shouldnt be following these.
