Do you have a link the the iron addicts one?Quagmire911 said:I have seen that chart before. It isn't accurate. My deadlift, according to that chart, is nearly advanced and I have been training for just over a year.
There is an elitefts one I saw on Ironaddicts that was accurate, although it was perhaps a little extreme. Because those guys are all elite they think that anyone can bench 500+ given time. Somewhere inbetween the elitefts one and the Exrx one is probably accurate for the average gym goer.
yes, its 1 RM based. but remember that this is based on FULL ROMMaxtro said:Is that chart based on 1-rep max weight or something like that?
Edit:
The have a one rep max calculator http://exrx.net/Calculators/OneRepMax.html
I'm below un-trained in everything yet I've been working out since Jan, does that make any sense?
Sorry, parallel squats don't mean **** and are bad for your knees.Flyer said:yes, its 1 RM based. but remember that this is based on FULL ROM

Exactly. Only way to do them is ass-to-grass.MrS said:Sorry, parallel squats don't mean **** and are bad for your knees.
Where have you read this? I've always wondered what he thinks about deep squats. He talks a lot about squatting too high, but I've never read anything from him about squatting too low.kickureface said:mark rippetoe says if you are truly doing ass to grass for real, you are splitting your knees apart![]()
