you ever taken a video of your form LF???

I did a couple weeks ago, I was surprised at how shytty my deadlift form looked from the side... kinda a hybrid of straight leg/floor deadlift.

I've since been working on getting my ass lower, but this is more just a pointless question ;)

Semag, no man, but it's fun you mention it because my friend and I were about to do it this week! I don't think my form is ****ty because I focus on keeping the hips down and lifting with both back and legs. Try olympic lifting dude that will help you keep that ass down :p

Double, no man, I just switch it around a little, it feels good to get fresh workouts from time to time.

Silver, I intake about 8 scoops of whey a day and 1 litre milk... I can't afford meat at the moment so I go for this. that's like 200 g protein. Seems to work for me.

And you ****ing **** I am going to ***** you so ****ing **** that your *** sticks out of your ****** mother****ing ******* come over here and I'll **** smash in your *** so it bleeds all over you ****ing ******* =D

no kidding dude.

I've a story to tell.

I was home and drinking a little ouzo from my bottle. Pretty bored, chilling. A girl called me up and wanted me to come to a club. I thougtht what the hell and left dressed in a pair of jeans, a wife beater and a pair of sneakers and an attitude from hell. Put on a jacket too and left.

I was walking down the street and noticed some dangerous elements walking about. Two gangs, I clenched my fist and my ribbling quadriceps and awaited an attack at any moment. But nothing happened to my relief. I let loose of my flexing walked calmly forward.

When I came to the club I removed my jacket and flexed my triceps and walked up the stair ALPHA way. Found the girls who called me and I went forward and introduced myself. We talked for a while, there were some guys they knew there too. One had an Iron Cross.

I walked to the dance floor with my head held high in true swedish tradition. We danced for a while and then I ordered two beers and glunked down pretty fast. Returned to the dance floor and let loose like a ****ing god.

One girl told me that the other liked me, (duh!) I wouldn't have noticed this myself. I continued to dance with them and then we went out to take a smoke. I said I didn't smoke because I trained. =) Well.. I was ****ing bored so I started to make out with the girl that liked me. Yeah, it was fun. Then we returned and danced some more.

Anyway.. I took another beer again and I didn't seem to find them, what a drag I thought and looked a little until I cought my eyes on a cool girl. I walked to her and introduced myself, flexing my stomach. It seems I had partied with her before so I took her to the dance floor for some grinding.. she was all into me... I saw that, and who can blame her? Her friend told me he would beat me down if I touched her. I was not afraid of him.. but he was joking.

After the dance and showed of my biceps I walked to another bar and I meet up with the other chicks. Now I had to think fast so I flexed my calf and introduced the girl I had made out with to the other girl and told her we had partied together when I graduated from school. They was about to walk to another side of the club. I told them I'll come in just a second, then I asked the bartender for a pen and gave it and a paper to her and told her to write down her number. She did, I read it to her with one digit wrong and she corrected me. So it was pretty good. Hugged her and walkt to the other chicks.

blablabla... alot of **** happened which was boring.. I was cool, blabla.. flexed my muscles... drank some beer... made out some more... went home to the girl... blabla.. no condom.. I was pissed.. got some sleep and walked home.

Wow, i thought you guys ate much more than 200gs. im on about that but cant seem to progress on my lifts! :(

gotcha, I didn't think my form had anything wrong either till I watched a video. It's all good tho.

I'm gonna cruise for a week or so, take it off. My body's telling me to chill out...


...but dude!! Yesterday, on my last workout (back/bi) before taking a week off.... I went up to heavy deads, and got 405 for 2 (w/ straps ;)). It was some sick shyt man, I was stoked ;)

Thanks gav. I have been away for a while.. I am sorry about that. Been alot to do right now, double knows why :)

Anyway.. today I freaked out on the weights. Lack of sleep and bad eating since I started school has made my weights drop, but now I focus more than ever. I'm back and this and the last workout actually turned out well.

Bench 2x80 kg New Record (after some db presses)

squat 1x140 kg
squat 0x145 kg (was sooo close)
(alot more, but I don't remember)

Current workout

Db shoulder press 8x21.4 kg 47 lbs New record

btw do anyone know the reason why my triceps hurt when I deadlift? And why the hell can't I max out on 155 when I can rep 140 with good form?

Just because you can rep with 140 doesn't mean you should max out on 155!

Don't go for one-rep maxes. Leave that to the bench-boy competitions, just work up from your 140 with good form, hell next time put on 142.5, there's no shame in only a 2.5kg weight increase.. even 1.25kg if you're stuck. Doesn't seem much but it adds up.

As for the triceps, see reverse kickback comments on Silverwex's thread, to be honest I can't see how the hell triceps are involved in a deadlift unless you're doing something wrong like pulling it up rather than back with your shoulders at the end?

Your arms are just hooks, they're not directly involved at all.
