my advice was never challenged, it was actually just thrown stupid insults at, such as "ur fake, no way this works" ect ect or some other sarcastic crap.........actually challenging my advice? nobody coherntly ever did that. If everyone initiated attacks on me, then why in the blue hell should I be the one who is banned? I did not initiate attacks or flame wars, THEY WERE INITIATED ON ME!
Ok Skip, this happens to a lot of posters and even the mods have started trouble in the past and started up shyt to start a flame war and thus a ban on a poster they don't like - I do not know about your personal sirtuation -- but it seems since then, you have gone out of your way to get a lot of attention and be disruptive, especially with the aliases and your cohorts -- starting threads that had no meaning but for merely drawing attention to you and to knock others down! This is a bad example for others!

I never saw skip intentionally going out of his way to be disruptive. He simply posted his tips about myspace and the importance of looks and people jumped on him instantly for it. Sure he might've been harsh in his criticisms of other posters, but being disruptive is one of the best ways to spark a change, whether you agree with his opinions or not.

You call out skip for setting a bad example for others, but you seem to be perfectly fine with mods who INTENTIONALLY BAIT A MEMBER OF THE BOARDS SO THEY CAN BAN HIM? Yeah those mods are setting a great example for the board that they're running. Jesus.

When I first started reading these forums five years ago we used to make fun of the introspective, wussy, kiss-ass types. What I used to call the Dawson Creek guys...

Actually I stated the mod example because it is a plausible possibility - but those mods have been removed - after the damage was done of course!

Was skip baited? Usually the baiters aren't banned - it's those who respond to the baiters!! Yes, unfair - but they looks for flaws in those that they want to ban and leave the agitators alone.

But I don't know if skip was the aggressor but reading his aliases posts I know he wanted attention by the threads that he made that said the same thing as his last thread - why make another thread and not just make another post under the current thread??? FOR ATTENTION!!! If you didn't agree with him then he lambasted you and told you to leave!! Just like Nasman aka pimpin aka skip???

I have a solution everyone bury the hatchett. The past is the past. Lets make a code that all of us have to follow.

1. Be honest when posting.
2. Don't put anyone down.
3. If someone posts a thread and u have nothing useful or positive to say than don't comment on anything.
4. Lets encourage real life situations.
5. Lets have a goal to try and make everyone step there game up.

Come on guys lets learn to live and forget. Everyone lets love each other and start out fresh. Its christmas time....

I love you too bro -- can we post light-hearted humorous sarcastic one liners? You posted one on the mature forum - I actually gave a half-laugh to it!!! Yet you tell others not to do it!!

Last Man Standing, set an example of good behaviour. We don't want another person to be thrown out the door, and unfortunately, that's the way you're heading.

Show me where I flamed anyone?? Humor is not bad! The mods just closed another thread by "Skip is back" because he started calling people names again -- the dude has no self control!!!

I am a man of peace and order!!!

Skip just posted "again" the thread that was just closed by the mod gods -- this dude has a brazen disregard for authority!! -- lookyyoung - you better help your boy!!

Here is his harsh remark..."faggot u really need to be banned, u are useless, and one of the idiots i refer to that throws out one liners that RUIN the forum completely - **** off"

He needs help - can anyone help him to calm his rage???

Did I mention flaming in my post? Err, no. I said set an example of good behaviour, correct?

Well done on being the troll police, but you're time spent following these blokes around and blowing the whistle is awfully unconstructive. Don't take it too far.

Once and a while, take things on the chin. Every piece of idiocy doesn't need to go noticed.

That being said, getting banned takes a lot of work to do. The decision to ban someone is not reached lightly by any means, and the person in question generally recieves several warnings either through thread posts or private messages (or a combination of these). Many factors are taken into consideration, such as length of membership, forum activity, how much the person contributes and how often complaints are recieved (and for what). These are just a few examples out of many, but they serve to illustrate the point that the people who were banned deserved what happened.

I beg to differ sir. I was given absolutely no warning whatsoever regarding my being banned. I assumed it was my insistent retorts to NAS2mylou's bullsh!t which resulted in my banishment. I sacrificed two AFC's and a goat to both Satan and a Mod (whom I admire very much and will buy the next quail egg for :flowers: ) and was thusly rewarded with my acceptance back to the club (although I do have to keep my nose clean).

I don't harbor anything against the Mod who banned me but I do have to object to being thrown in the same boat as the others who were banned at the same time. That being my only charge I can forgive him. I'm big hearted like that.

Let me know where to send the peace cigar.

And these were the guys who got pissed when their "advice" was challenged. A lot of it were just tricks to get by and they may have gotten lucky once and it actually worked. There's a lot of guys in this forum who had grown past the tricks to just get a quick and dirty fvck. They want solid advice to build their talents, not playground childsplay that reeks of plain social promotion.
Very well put. This site used to be a fantastic source of motivation and education, and I give many of the users here credit for many of my improvements as a man. This was a real high quality site at one time that transcended all the cheap PUA gimmicks and childishness of most other internet forums.

This site has helped guys with severe social disorders, anxiety and many other serious issues, and even some guys on the verge of suicide.

I don't think people realise how frustrating it is to see a site go from that to what it is today, where almost every topic in the main forum is a self-promotion article by Skip or some other immature keyboard jockey, spouting textbook seduction crap.

Please excuse me if I seem to have been "flaming" a lot recently, but when it comes down to it, there is a very serious aspect to this site that deals with some very serious issues. It's not just about fvcking women, and it's certainly not about cyber egos; it's about offering help to people who really need it and motiving us to make the most of our lives.

Yes.

The process was tortuous! I was clinging onto strands of hope, reaching out from the darkness, gasping for breath! I almost died! Oh, the humanity...

Basically, this was the process:

Ban #1
  • [Allen] You've been a bad boy, Demon. Figures. I'm going to ban you for two months. Come back later and we'll see about you returning.
  • [Demon] Okay.
  • Two months pass.
  • [Demon] Hey, Allen. It's been two months.
  • [Allen] Okay, cool. You can come back inside.

Ban #2
  • [Allen] Demon, Demon, Demon. You're really screwing up. I'm banning both you and DIESEL.
  • [Demon] But, Allen! DIESEL's only temporarily banned.
  • [Allen] Yeah, but you suck.
  • [Demon] Okay...
  • A little more than two months pass.
  • [Demon] Can I come in yet, Allen?
  • [Allen] I don't think so. You're still the talk of the town, and that talk ain't good.
  • Way more than two months pass.
  • [Demon] Okay, Allen. I'd like to remove my screen name and location details from my profile.
  • [Allen] I'll let you in now, but I recommend not participating. You have this ability to cause a firestorm with merely a whisper.
  • [Demon] Good deal.
I was unbanned long before I started participating again.

when I first came here , I think about 2-3 years ago , this place was like a gold mine , the information on this site punched me awake , I used to think that girls were like super special and never wrong or bad , I was getting signs from girls that I never picked up on , and when I finally noticed them it was to late, I was a total afc , and this place changed me in soo many positive ways.
It gave me confidence, it gave me support , it gave me a hunger to better myself...

Now all you get from this place is another reason to not visit internet forums anymore , its all packed full with 13 year old preepubesent acne freaks who think they are the next Chris rock of stand up comedy.
This place is now filled with selfloathing 30 year olds who hunger for aproval by some person, theyve never met ,over the internet... They want approval of their lives and so they exsagurate all these hb theyve slept with and keep telling everyone that ***** is all that matter because they have nothing else to show...
We have people who go around flaming each other because they have nothing better to do , they see other peoples sucsess and out of jelousy they want to degrade them to others to make themselves seem better , to not notice how lacking their own lives are.

People have gone soo wrong in what this site is for , its not just about getting ***** , its not just about getting numbers from girls , its about bettering yourself, to gain confidence and have the courage to go out and do things you want to do , its about getting rid of the doubt, getting rid of the fear that holds you back everytime you want to do something.... Its about becoming a real man.

It's posts like these that keep me around. I lurked around this site and a couple of others for a good year before I decided on this site to hang my hat. It was about personal growth without the smoke and mirrors. I enjoyed that it was not as controlled as some of the other sites that just posted articles by certain people of the society, this site seemed as it was based on the contributions of several guys who "got it" (self improvement) and many more who were "getting it."

It's sad to see this place overrun with quick fix parlor tricks. Creating the High School and the Mature Man forums helped a bit but there's just so much that can be segregated to preserve the ideals that are the foundation of the forum.
