You cannot act as an authority on "quantum physics" if you aren't a scientist. And if you were you'd be able to PROVE with actual EVIDENCE that the "power of positive thinking law of attraction works" not just spew campfire stories about it. There's a reason science isn't chasing down the "power of positive thinking/ law of attraction" nonsense. Because it's just a wives tale.

Did the “power of positive thinking / law of attraction” hocus pocus prevent its proponents from DIVORCE?

Does the “power of positive thinking / law of attraction” hocus pocus prevent its proponents from doing time in prison?

All the “power of positive thinking / law of attraction” hocus pocus does is prevent you from using critical thinking to cover all bases in life by only wishing on a twinkling little star.

What you think doesn't define you. What you actually DO does.

Law of attraction is true. Its just been hijacked by the new age movement, and the ridiculous belief that is if you believe it in your mind and heart you will attract it. That is false, you must use the masculine aspect and go after what you want (action) it will take an undisclosed amount of time differing for everyone.

You can't just imagine then and they physically pop out of the air and are given to you.

First you imagine it, dream it....then you take unrelenting action towards it and bring it in to reality combining the feminine and masculine aspects of the "Law of Attraction" Before the New Agers hijacked it

Sir, the Law of Attraction comes from the New Thought Movement and the definition of the Law of Attraction is specifically that if you believe it, you can have it. If you believe strong enough, with all of your heart and soul, the universe will manifest THAT which you believe (no matter if it's positive or negative).

That's the theory Sir.

Correct, but this is not the Law of Attraction.

Here's the "law of attraction" definition. You'll never see this "law" in any law book or used as a law in a court of law. Too bad facts and reality are a little too much for posers and the gullible to bear. Lol

In the New Thought philosophy, the law of attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from "pure energy", and that through the process of "like energy attracting like energy" a person can improve their own health, wealth and personal relationships.

Advocates of this mind-power paradigm generally combine cognitive reframing techniques with affirmations and creative visualization to replace limiting or self-destructive ("negative") thoughts with more empowered, adaptive ("positive") thoughts. A key component of the philosophy is that in order to effectively change one's negative thinking patterns, one must also "feel" (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to "attract" positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic "Law."

The law of attraction has no scientific basis and has been dubbed a pseudoscience. A number of researchers have criticized the misuse of scientific concepts by its proponents.

"Law of Attraction" sounds like Disneyland cartoon network to me.

Not sure what nonsense you've been reading but books that espouse Law of Attraction such as Think and Grow Rich that I've read all explicitly stated that there must be action beyond just strong beliefs for your wishes to manifest. You must put in focused effort with focused thought, for a desired outcome. You can't just wish sh*t happens while doing jack.

Law of Attraction is Biblical teaching.
The Bible is full with quotes like:

Believe in prayer (meditation) that you have received it and it will be yours.

The poor in heart will be poorer and the rich in heart will be richer.

And more and more quotes like that.

well to some extent your actions are based on your thoughts right? changing your thinking might subtly change your actions, even if you don't realize which of your actions are affected by your thoughts

No Sir, the definition and theorical foundation of the Law Of Attraction.....is based on a quantum physics notion that "like" energy attracts "like" energy. Positive energy attracts positive energy and negative energy attracts negative energy. Thus, what you put OUT into the universe is what you get back, according to the Law Of Attraction. So if you put out positive thoughts, you get positive things. If you put out negative thoughts, you get negative things.

Here's more information:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_attraction_(New_Thought)

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Law of attraction

https://www.successconsciousness.com/law-of-attraction-definitions.htm

In the New Thought philosophy, the law of attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.[1][2] The belief is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from "pure energy", and that through the process of "like energy attracting like energy" a person can improve their own health, wealth and personal relationships.
So Sir, the Law of Attraction theory, in and of itself, is just based on energy that supposedly goes out into the universe and brings to you what you think about. That's it.

Now, obviously........this makes NO fvcking sense, does it? So you had a bunch of backlash from people who decided to do some "Tenacity shyt" and CRITICALLY THINK for a fvcking change lol. So the Self-Help Gurus and Prosperity Gospel Preachers "added" to the Law Of Attraction theory and said that you must accompany it with "action" in order to attempt to make sense of the shyt and get more folks buying in.

But if I now must accompany the theory with "action" or "busting my a.ss", then the theory would be completely irrelevant as common sense would state that it was the fact that I was "busting my a.ss" (GRIT) that determined my success.

Instead of reading some definitions try reading the book I mentioned which is one of a few books that brought the Law of Attraction type of thought into mainstream. You're arguing using sh*t sources, action is a requirement. I've noticed a trend with you where you just can't concede basic things, you clearly know basically nothing about what you're even writing in this situation so take a breather and go get a PDF online and digest the content.

Sir, "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill was released in 1937. The concept of the "Law of Attraction" came out of New Thought Movement teaching of the late 1800's from people such as Phineas Quimby. The concept of the Law of Attraction was not created by Napoleon Hill Sir, I have posted links so that you can actually look up and research the information rather than trying to argue "your opinion".

And for your information, I've been reading Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, and certain other Self-Help Guru books since I've been 16. It's why I know so much about the New Thought Movement.
