So I'm a junior in high school and there is this Latin freshman chic in my spanish class and she is cute. I am white but i was born in Russia! I'm thinking about going out with her but here is my problem: I don't know if I'll be able to do it.
My school is like 40% hispanics and they sort of stick together and don't make friends with the whites very much. She has no white friends. How can i connect to her? I might be able to use this though: we were talking once yesterday and she said that i should make spanish-speaking friends so that i can learn spanish better. I could ask her to be my spanish-speaking friend and go from there. How can i overcome the barrier? any suggestions please. I need some really soon too.

Age of Alex, color or culture doesnt matter. Shes still a girl and will respond the same way as any other girl. Im doing the samething right now. Dreamx has it kind of right however most of those stereotypes are from the ugly chicks. You could say Im in the prep group and going out of that bubble is usually looked downed upon by most of my friends....but thats the essence of a DJ no caring what the AFC society believes is right. Anyway what I like to do at school is make eye contact say hi chat abit...then work your way up using all your skills and after a few days of talking at school ask to hang out.
