Todays Saturday and I got up 11am, rode my bicycle to an appointment, then rode it around town.

It's a sunny day and I fell asleep on a bench in a quiet spot I know, when I woke up I went for a sauna.

Came out the sauna, ate, fell asleep on the bench again for 20 minutes.

Rode my bike around again and now I'm home with a couple of beers in the fridge and I probably won't be going out anywhere tonight.

I work in construction and almost always crash out after work for about half hour, and I'm always tired. My joints ache, my neck always aches from an accident I had and my eye is messed up from a nail that bounced off the wall and hit me in the eye, and I haven't had a holiday for over 2 years.

It's a bit phuked up as I can't honestly see how I could be in a relationship or juggle plates in the state I'm in. She would have to be the understanding type!

Women I was seeing last year kept digging at me about how I was often tired and yawned a lot, and I couldn't say she didn't have a point. She would be up early and hiking, then want to go dancing and then off to yoga, hard to keep up with her.

On the other hand I've increased my net worth from about 40 grand 5 years back to around 700,000 today! ( really I have!)

But I've kind of become a bit obsessive with it, like I should take a holiday but I'm not taking a holiday.... mind is always going going going.

I think I've got to push myself to change gears and slow it down a notch or two.

I'd like to practice meditation and go yoga and stretch out my tired body, chill out a bit.

Sometimes I can only do that if I leave the country and I don't actually feel like I want to do that right now. A nice lazy summer would be wonderful. Only one that can give me permission to do that is me! And I'm such a harsh baztard that I don't :) faaaak
Being in this perma-tired state is a drag! Most the time I don't really feel like chasing tail, actually I do feel like chasing tail, just kind of end up thinking I'm a bit to tired to get enthusiastic about it.

How old are you? Any medical conditions? Or are you just tired from work. It's hard to attract women with low energy levels I had a late night on Friday and didn't eat breakfast until almost 1pm on Saturday so my entire Saturday was awful. I felt like **** and had no energy and I practically forced myself to go to the gym. But I went to bed around 7:30pm slept most of the night and am getting ready now to hit the shower and eat a healthy breakfast. This will get me going good today.

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
Do you work nights/have a wacky sleep schedule? Induced Narcolepsy. The only reason I say this could be a possibility would be because you are falling asleep in random places during the day, which should not happen. You also say you are stressed, you could just need a vacation, the simple answer. When you stress your body to a certain point you will have to just sleep/eat/and recover to get back to normal. Hormones are finicky and take awhile to normalize once they've gone out of their norm.

there is a reason here in Scandinavia people are FORCED to take 4 weeks minimum paid holidays.
I just had a week off, and I feel great, after a month or so I will take another 2 weeks paid.

I get super tired easy also. Several things for me, and maybe you too:

I smoke herb, like your after work beer... makes you tired
Sauna will make you tired, I have one in my flat, limit to 15 minutes below 180f try after 8pm with your beer
Coffee between 5-7pm will make me tired
Sleeping is addictive

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

54 yo., frequent naps, tired, body aches and is less resilient than it used to be, diminished motive for activities, lack of focus, inter alia ...

Low testosterone. Seek a HRT physician. Get blood work. Check testosterone, estrogen, gf-1 levels. Report back.

Hi Scara, always good to read your stuff. Had a good laugh at that! I think you nailed it.
I'm not a young man anymore and I carry on like I am, I'm not a wreck or anything but ya know.... running around with bags of concrete and digging holes, falling off the scaffold and no holiday, problems with the city council over my rental house, etc... Hardly a recipe for feeling relaxed and full of beans.
I worked in construction for close to 40 years now.... FAAAK thats a long time, I've had co workers who fell off a roof and died, crushed, toes squashed and the like.
I fell off a scaffold a couple years back painting a house boat, I had all my clothes on and landed in the ocean and looked up to see I was under the house boat, so I just swam to where I could see daylight and luckily was OK. Then about 3 weeks later doing a job in a bakery a fan came down and cut into my hand, cut an artery and blood popping out everywhere.
I must admit I was ready to give it up after that.
Yep, weary from work and life too. My brothers all died young from drinking, motor bikes and god knows what, I'm only one left, and I think weighs on my mind a lot too.
I'm fortunate in that I think I can afford to mostly retire next year. Looking forward to that!

The young Sheilah, the 29 year old one? That was funny as fvck. I'd met her in the elevator about 3 months before I shagged her. Said hello for a couple of minutes.
Saw she had some furniture for sale on notice board, so texted her to say hi, its me Englishman.

About 2 months after that I got a text message about 11pm saying ..hi, its me (sexy elevator lady who had furniture for sale) Can I come down and say hi...

So sure enough about 10 minutes later she came knocking at my door, I let her in and she brought a bottle of wine.

We sat on the couch chatting about this and that. I was thinking this is different, I mean I dont know this person. Shes pretty, sexy and smart and sat here drunk and obviously looking for some c0ck.

So I started to stroke her leg, she smiled, I kept going up her thigh, she smiled more, I stroked her ***** though her panties.... she jumped up, pulled her dress over her head, took her bra off. Then pulled my t shirt over my head and straddled my lap and pushed her t1ts in my face!

All within 15 minutes of coming in to my apartment.

I ended up banging her on the bed, she squirted on bed.... we had a laugh about it and she offered to leave some change for laundry ;) and then about 1.30 am she said thanks for that, I'll sleep tonight, im off back upstairs now, she put her dress on and nothing else and went upstairs.... was quite amazing.

Its a funny old life, I've enjoyed construction and shagging and fighting my way through life.

T is not measured in your conventional blood panel. It is an ancillary test, and together with estrogen and gf-1, could a bit costly. Most conventional docs will not test for T even if requested. Hence, why you see an HRT physician.

Hey, you are the one with the low energy, lack of initiative, and frequent napping. If you don't mind, then enjoy. But, if you do mind, check:
  • Total T
  • Free T
  • Estrogen
  • Gf-1
If you did seek an HRT physician, and got tested for the above; then report your numbers back in this thread.

To be honest I'm not sure what the test was. I had some blood drawn and they tested thyroid function and other things.
Theres a line for testosterone that came back with this result ;

Reproductive and Gonadal
Testosterone

22.0
8.4-28.8
nmol/L

I looked it up and if I'm right then 8.4 is on the low side of normal and 28.8 the high side. 22 is in normal range.

22nmol/l is the equivalent to American 634 ng/dl total T. Not bad! I would encourage you on your next visit to check your free T levels because if much of your total T is binded, you would have little circulating free T. Also check estrogen (E) levels for T/E ratio as this could create a similar hindrance.

The reason I'm getting all physiological on you is because I, too, had identical symptoms as you before T therapy. Granted there could a myriad reasons, but this is the most common after age 40, and gets progressively worse as you age.

Congrats, btw, on the 700k, but don't stop there!

I was going to say to the OP, don't mention the 700k, guru will call you a piker, lol.

Sounds to me like you're working too hard. Aging is a slow process, but it's not unusual to notice it in your 50s. We're not immortal. Some people don't even live that long. I'm not sure what to do about it, though. If you take a vacation, you're just going to wear yourself out again when you go back to work. You may have to set aside a little extra time to rest.

I think your right, I've been working to hard for years now.

I'm taking some time off lately, I just thought fvck it after posting and reading what people posted back, time to relax a bit.

Now I'm into a couple of weeks of working a bit but not much, sleeping in a some, eating good and been hiking, yoga, massage and bike riding. Feel much better!

Actually I spoke to a guy who said to me he thought I should get a life... and was hard to say he didn't have a point. I've chased the dollar around for the last 8 years and it worked out but I didn't do much else. Got a bit fat, probably a bit boring and jaded too. You know like, what did you do this month English? Well.... errrr I worked a lot, and it made me tired, so I drank beer on my own and watched you tube videos.... exciting ;)

It's OK, was a fvck about but I think I could probably not work much from now on if I really wanted to. I sort of enjoy work, probably too much and need to change up my priorities in life.

Yeah, as a Dentist, I've worked 5 days a week for the last 25 years. Even an easy job like that will wear on your back and mind.... I've got maybe 2 years left before I look at cutting back or totally retiring. I keep hearing all these stories about being bored, I'd like to try it sometime. BUT, I don't want to work part time at walmart either. I'd rather part time in the office.... if it comes to that, I may as well make decent money.

Keep doing what you are experienced in and getting paid at a high level. Only work 3 days a week..... see how you feel about that

Someone mentioned night shift...

I worked 20+ years as a night shift manager.... made a ton of money but lost my family and friends. My bed time was earlier than my neighbors 5 year old. Basically I became a "vampire"..... Fighting for sleep wherever and whenever. Not healthy.

I had blood drawn for this test today. Will find out how much is free testosterone and how much estrogen.

Been feeling better just having some time off and getting things in perspective. Sleeping in a bit and was down the gym today and yoga yesterday, life is tough sometimes.
