Kids creapin in and fawking up our section!

I would like to suggest to the mods that if the person does not have the correct age listed in their profile to not allow their posts to stay up.

The reason why we have a mature section is so that we don't have to deal with kids. This is suppose to be a section where us older players can come and chat and discuss game without interuptions like:

So suave used to be a ok place until it got overrun by kids. Now we have wierd posts like the ones you see in the main forum.

Which is why this section was created in the first place. So that us mature men can avoid that main floor when necessary.

I vote that we remove all posts that are from under-aged kids.

We talked about this earlier under the topic of 'how to make mature man forum better'. I agree 100% with this suggestion, but is it possible with this forum software to prevent posts from people who do not have a listed age > 25? If not, manually removing these sorts of posts would be kind of a drag and would stop gettin' done eventually.

Probably not. But we can ask the mods to remove posts where the age is listed as under the guide lines. That will teach the younger ones not to come in....hopefully.

And while we are at it how about removing all of the flame shyt on TooUlret's posts...yeah I'm guilty too.

I agree that the main forum has gone down alot. When I first started on the forum 4 years ago, it was like a small private community with only the occasional dumbass. But then it expanded and more and more dumb sh*t got posted and I lost interest and I've only recently returned to posting.

It was the Archives section and the Mature section that got me interested in the forum again. The Mature section reminds of the days when the forum was smaller and much more exclusive and there was alot of good quality posts and information being exchanged.

I'm 31, and while I understand the younger guys need the guidance of older cats, I think they should read the posts in the Mature section in order to learn but I agree with Player_Supreme that they should keep their mouths shut. I don't need a kid talking to me about topics and issues that I know they aren't mature or experienced enough yet to even understand.

It is kinda laughable when a 20 year old argues (or attempts to argue) with someone twice his age with at least twice the experience. We have a different mindset. Some of the advice is obviously too much for someone fresh out of high school to handle.

It is a cliche, but yes, older guys have usually "Been there, done that". I can see why a teenager or someone early 20's would want to absorb the information in this section. I can even understand coming to this section to ask questions.

....But to actually argue with a group of guys who have been dealing with women before you were born??

If you come to this section, you should at least ACT grown up.

There IS a way to "block off" the Mature Man forum, just like they do the Moderator's Forum. Only those with special privilges can read or post there. If they can do it there, they can do it here.

I might have posted in maybe 15+ posts but when I do post here I type it out, read it, re-edit it, re-re-edit it for ****y comments and then finally post it here. This is at least to make sure that it stays mature.

I see alot of individuals here post stuff like that stuff that P_S is being mad about. A reason I left the main board like I said before in a previous post.

I have kept that entire attitude since I came to this board. I don't talk relationship with you guys because I have Eternals site and the high school boards to do that on but I do talk other things or if I actually have useful advice on self-improvement on this area of the site. That is one of the reasons I don't get flamed out of here (Please no reason to do it now).

I think if people would just go with that philosophy in the above quote that this thread would not be around.
