Congratulations Karma, this is what this s*** is all about.

I'll try and let Alex know.

Keep up the good work, let's see what those results in another 90 days are like. I hope you didn't tell the doc your diet :D

AND sisters.

My fault for overlooking the ladies.

Speaking of ladies, Mrs. K and Li'l K are following my lead. I suppose seeing the dramatic results from my blood tests shook 'em up.

Sorry, I got a little distracted but not with my lifestyle change. Still working out hard, watching my intake, upped my fish oil another 2 grams per day and added cinnamon capsules to my regimen.

I don't need to go back to my Doctor for another 6 months due to my tests being so fvcking clean :).

I'll do a better job of staying in touch in here. Promise.

Keep it up brother Karma!

And if I can make a suggestion to possibly help you along your path of change. I too am getting into working out, eating better, etc. One small book I found that is really helping me stay on track is this.

http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2195363&cp&kw=bodyminder&origkw=bodyminder&sr=1

It's only $13.00 as a gold card member and it is incredibly well designed as far as tracking your daily goals, accomplishments, diet intake, reminders, etc.

I have been using for 2 weeks now and it's been great.

Karma's inspired me to get back into my cardio regime and eat healthier as well.

I've been doing a lot of research on good things to eat for the new regimen and for some fats to stave off the hunger pangs I'm going to get Walnuts, Almonds and low fat peanut butter and for antioxidants I'm going to get some blueberries and purple grapes.

Its funny how this health stuff has become so interesting to me but when you start to research how your body works and what foods help you to feel better all around its simply fascinating.

Anyway kickass news about not having to see the doc for six months Karma.

You are really coming along well brother.

KontrollerX you're one of my inspirations brother. One piece of advice is to watch out for low fat anything. They add loads of sugar to compensate. I'm proud of you for being the best you can be. Warboss rode my ass about low fat.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Update time:

My Golds membership ran out January 1st and instead of renewing it I decided to buy a treadmill and get my cardio with that and our pool. Also it's that time of the year and I'm out in the sun doing the yardwork.

This has been a pretty interesting experiment seeing if I can keep up the intensity and motivation to work out at home and so far I'm pretty successful.

There's a Weider squat rack with 200 lbs of weight at Sams Club so that's next on my list.

For all of you old farts like me who lack the motivation to get off your ass just realize what I've been able to do with just some willpower and reinforcement from the brothers and the Mods here.

Unbelievable.

I apologies for not posting in here as I've become accustomed to my routine.
I realize a lot of guys read my posts for motivation and I hold that with sincerity.

Congrats Karma. I road my mtn. bike around 1,500 miles last year. This year I am finding it harder and harder to find time to get out for a ride. In January my wife and I bought a treadmill. I have been using that thing on average 4-5 days a week. Sometimes a brisk 20-25 minute walk, sometimes a 20 minute run, and sometimes a 45 minute walk. It works great. I work from home (when not at a customer site) and I noticed it is easy to pack on pounds when your desk is 20 feet from your bedroom. A quick 20 minute walk in the morning and another at the end of the work day and it is like I walked to and from work (1 mile+) each way. I have made some changes to my diet and since I weighed myself on Jan. 2, I am down 6 pounds. Not great, but not bad either (avg. 2 pounds/ mth). For me the treadmill has been a great investment.

Hell yes! I know how easy it is to go from the desk to the fridge.

I keep the treadmill in the garage with the tv and the Ipod right there so I can watch the Today show or listen to Tool and beat my legs to death.

Props to you brother and keep it goin'!
