I'm not going to post my workouts anymore. I'm on a good 3-4 day split routine and I'm passionate about it. I'll still post my diet.

meal 1 - 4 eggs, bacon

meal 2 - I made homemade meatloaf with chuck, italian sausage, fresh tomatoes and some ketchup on top as a glaze.

meal 3 - turkey tetrazinni (turkey, onions, beans, corn, carrots and tossed in a chicken base.)

if you are happy with your routine stick with it although if it's the one you post it's not optimal by any stretch of the imagination (for strength/muscle gains) but just for fitness it'll do.

as for your diet, after your next weigh in have a couple of cheat meals (whatever you want) then factor in a weekly cheat or carb meal - as you lose weight you can increase these.

btw go all the way down on squats.

Instead of Adductor/Abductor and weighted abs I like crunches better and they hurt more.

No go?

How is my blood sugar going to handle carbing? It'll go through the roof won't it?

You don't have to do the ad/abductor machines but if your knees start coming in during squats do them. Weighted situps are superior to crunches however.

As for your blood sugar. It shouldn't go through the roof since the last two months you've been working on insulin management. I know many type II bbers who have carb days without problems.

To err on the side of caution, do this and see what happens. Have three carb meals on Saturday (or Sunday as you wish) and start with very clean carb sources such as brown rice or potatoes. Monitor your bloodsugar and see what happens - if it gives you problems just keep it to that one meal - but you should be okay with more than that. If you're not then simply keep it to that one meal and be more meticulous with diet, etc (you're eating stuff like corn and beans which are higher carb).

Basically you gotta try it and see but if your blood sugar does go out of control then we need to readdress your diet and supplementation.

Thank you Brother Positive.

Warboss,

Ok, I had 2 hot dogs with 1 slice of whole wheat bread and some mayo. Then I had one square of dark chocolate and my blood sugar was still 89 two hours later.

I feel guilty as fvck though. I like the challenge of finding new ways to minimise carbs in my lifestyle so I'm staying true. Why fvck up what's working?

Perhaps I'll start a low-carb recipe thread of my favorites for brothers who want to go this route.

Do you like that "DreamFields" pastas? I tried it once and my family said if I ever brought it home again they'd beat me to death. Everyone got sick off it. Now I just use an organic whole-wheat pasta with much better results.

Even if I wasn't watching my carb intake I would choose Dreamfields over regular pasta any day of the week. I love the stuff but now use it very sparingly.

Labs today:

This morning in high anticipation, I went to get my 90 day labwork tests. I'll report back once I have the results next Thursday.

I expect them to be far superior to my last before I started this journal.

I'm still eating eggs, meat, cheese and sugar free jello and veggies. On Sundays I am allowing myself some carbs (but nothing drastic) such as a couple slices of whole wheat bread, some Dreamfields low carb pasta or sugar free chocolate pudding. Though I don't have the inkling for that kind of stuff as I've trained myself to love protein rich foods and vegetables.

Gym is going good and I'm down to a size 40 in jeans when I started I was having trouble with my 44's being snug. Chest and arms are fvcking blowing up to boot.

 :cheer:

Good luck with the results, and congratulations on the fat loss.

Remember the fat is as equally as important as the protein though. You need it for energy. No sf-jello cup only meals.
