Tooo much testosterone can convert into estrogen though so you dont wanna boost testosterone.
Still you have to find out out if your bones are fused and since the upperlimbs fuse a bit earlier It might be safer too ask to x ray your feet too, just in case.
body hair can be used to estimate how far along you are in puberty so he probably predicted that you have whatever

And another thing HGH doesn't technically fuse your plates. It just accelerates growth to the point that the growth of bones exceed the growth of cartilage ( and this process causes fusion ), limiting your final adult height. But estrogen directly affects the rate of fusion.
Yes, very low estrogen can lead to osteoporosis later in life because of a reduction in calcium absorption. It MIGHT be needed for thinking, but that, it is still being researched, I think.

Pediatric Endocrinologists are the people who give bone age tests right?

I think I remember last time I went to my regular doctor I asked for one and he said he didn't do them.

Any idea how much they cost? My dad said our insurance probably won't cover it... but I really want it so I'll just pay it myself.

I really hope I still have time. I heard that bone does not grow continuously, it stops, and then grows, and stops, and then grows. So maybe I can still grow again =D

Dang...

If I were to wager, I'd guess around $100. o.0

My dad doesn't think this is important, either.
Easy for him to say he's taller than me =(

When you go see the doc, ask him if a Paleolithic diet is ideal for growth. People living 10,000 years ago had average heights greater that those even today, and they were eating no refined sugars. No grains, no dairy.....just fruits, veggies, and meats (what our bodies were designed to intake)

Refined sugars cause the body to output TONS of insuline and causes hormones to spike drasically, this might be bad for growth, not sure......find out if you can :D

Man, I used to drink so much soft drinks. Soft drinks used to replace water for me, I'd drink like 2 a day or more...

Now I completely banished them from my diet. I always drink like water or milk now. However I started this habit too late...

I dont know much about that but I heard the average height for the caveman back then was 5'6
Actually I wanted to become a raw food vegan(vegetarian who only eats raw fruits & vegetables) but then i found out about anti estrogens and growth and thats pretty much what led me to start eating meat again cause I dont want to risk what i dont know.I amgoing to start after all this is over again.

"One straight forward example of what paleopathologists have learned from skeletons concerns historical changes in height. Skeletons from Greece and Turkey show that the average height of hunger-gatherers toward the end of the ice ages was a generous 5’ 9" for men, 5’ 5" for women. With the adoption of agriculture, height crashed, and by 3000 B. C. had reached a low of only 5’ 3" for men, 5’ for women. By classical times heights were very slowly on the rise again, but modern Greeks and Turks have still not regained the average height of their distant ancestors."

:D Paleolithic diet is the way to go

yeah ill ask him.but I dont think you can change your height that instantly by changing diets it takes generations, lets say you start a Paleolithic diet and your kids also start a Paleolithic diet and so on maybe your great great grandchildren will have a higher increased height due to the Paleolithic diet passed on from their ancestors.so either way it would still be considered to be the cause of genetics.
thats a theory of mine

So I went to the doc today and he said that he would only use anti estrogens on me if my bone age was 14 and under. so I went to take an xray and they said thjey will send him the copy.so im gonna have to wait 2 or 4 days till I find out if my bones are fused. He said that anti estrogens arent neccessary and thet they use something else to stop the fusuin. He also told me that IGf-1 Would work but would have many sideaffects thats why they use HGH.He also told me that bones fuse around 17,18.He said if my plates are still open he could still help me out but he told me it depends on my body if anti estrogens would work significantly.

Manuva, no offence, but I really don't think "NO WEIGHTLIFTING DOES NOT STUNT GROWTH" is a fair answer.

The reason I bring this up is because weightlifiting creates excess testosterone which is in turn converted into estrogen which causes bone plates to ossify. To be fair, it also releases HGH which causes you to grow....so I have NO idea if you would be a.) taller b.) shorter c.) the same height with/without weightlifting.
