Women (almost all women ) are using some sort of online technology for finding men , it could be POF or could be Facebook or insta , etc.
Saying all women who use online dating websites are bad, is just an excuse to some people who are failing.

Then what explains on pof, tinder etc mostly fat women? I dont even message or swipe hardly anymore because most are fat and stuff. Its better failing than going for easy fat women.

Is approaching dead? Depends....if you are cold approaching in order to find a girlfriend -- stick a fork in it, your odds are really low - that time has pass.

Approaching strangers in order to find some sort of a romantic relationship is often a very unrewarding exercise. That last sentence is often true even when it is effective and 1 or more extended relationship develop over the course of a lifetime.

Approaching strangers has some amount of similarity with cold calling for sales in business. Cold calling has been largely discredited as ineffective since the 1990s. Even before the 1990s, cold calling wasn't well regarded.

1. As a 40 year old, I have aged out of that bracket for the most part. I'm not on swipe apps and haven't been for a while.
2. Even when I was on swipe apps, I found the top of female attractiveness of swipe apps to be near the 7.5-7.9 range. It was rare to see 8+ women on the swipe apps. There are more 8+ women that can receive DMs on Instagram if one must use a tech method. The real world is better for the 8+ audience.

I used to do cold approach in college and tbh thats where i got laid the most and even though i got a lot of rejections i also got a lot of enthusiastic yes and did great. However due to life i stopped and relied solely on tinder and hinge. Ive had success with them but i feel like its not in my control as with cold approach i can express my personality and confidence more. But is it dead? I havent done it in 7 years lmao and my skills are probably rusty. I have a lot of gorgeous women in my gym who stare at me and i def want to pick them up but i havent done it in so long. Anyone immersed in dating have any idea if girls are just using dating apps or are they still open to being approached

Cold approach will and always be the most effective way to present your personality in person to women and also understand if you click or not with a woman in the fist minute you talk to her.

Dating apps, or social media is just a faceless way of approaching that yes can lead to a date, and bang but at the end of the day my personal success has been mostly in cold-approaching. I can easily scan women in seconds and understand body language, facial gestures and get straight to the point.

You have not done it in 7 years so start going out and start to do it. Skills return, improve and eventually you will get to a point where is like a default for you.

True. More like under 35. The women under 35 on OLD generally are fat, or full of tats and ugly. The women closer to 40 and older are generally hotter on OLD than the young ones, but not many of them though.

There is no reason why women under 35 if they're hot they have to use OLD. Most have friends, social groups, friends from college, work etc.

Once in awhile you'll see a cute introvert who uses OLD and takes it seriously.

Then guy complain no young hot women on OLD but don't apply much logic why.

There are a FEW you will see on OLD HB8 plus that are not fake profiles but rare, the last 3 years really rare. You'd see them on Match before covid went on a date with HB9 from there too. Guys don't realize most hot women meet their guys via social circles, work, school, etc. Not sitting on the sh*tter swiping on Tinder. You pretty much some it up. under 8 range on OLD.

They want one of those fairytale Hallmark Channel movie characters (wealthy chad) to approach her. Btw, I had a thread on that. Those damn Hallmark movies influence women thinking that's what they're entitled to. Notice it's always a Chad, not super chad, but decent looking chad in those movies who comes from rich family or is a doctor, lawyer, successful business owner in their mid 30s or so and it's a cute HB 7.5. Basically top 15 percent income earner and chad, mid range chad. So now every single woman, especially HB7 plus thinks the typical man is this. Then she's picky wanting top 10 percent income earner and model tier guy when in reality most of us are not this. It's like saying most 50 year old women look like Melania Trump.

Then disappointed this doesn't happen. A guy earning 200k a year, and in a professional field isn't doing cold approaching often. They meet people with other means.

The very few women remaining on OLD that are HB7 have that delusion and get stuck on there. Being unrealistic with their expectations with delusion and grander. Of course, not all women are shallow like this.

This is somewhat accurate. Women do prefer a top tier man approaching them. @I_have_BDE thinks you need looks + money. It's not true. If you're a good looking but broke man, you can still do well approaching. I've observed instances of broke, good looking manual laborer/blue collar men doing well with women.

Sure, but you won't see them with high value women. Not saying looks wise part but they're skinny but the waitress type girls who might have a couple tats and slim figure or a nose piercing. Not a real estate agent, doctor, professor, or field that requires a college degree. Those hotter women are stuck up and won't stick with someone below them. They want an educated high value guy who's making money, not a bum. Those are rubes according to her.
