My experience of 36 years tells me they're quickly catching up to western standards. Who wouldn't? From what I know their sense of entitlement is still a bit behind but the general b!tchin' about pretty much everything and being a royal pain in the a... whenever they feel like it has become "state-of-the-art". I hear that women in the Ukraine get treated very poorly by their men. And I don't mean encouraged to keep silent while men speak or things of the sort... I mean outright violence in public. A colleague of mine recently transfered over there says that any man with the slightest hint of manners, as most Westerners are, will land a dozen chicks in one week. They FIGHT each other to be with a Westerner...

As for the article, that girl is just barely discovering these things, that's why she writes about them so passionately. I bet she was educated in Western Europe or the US then went back to Kyev to spread the gospel of female liberation...

There are two main points that I think we can infer from this article...

1. She mentioned that she's still great friends with that guy she dated. I bet you my left nut she's still doing him occasionally.

2. She probably got beat up over this article, probably by the guy in point #1.

The main issue with eastern Europe is that there are 3 hot girls for every guy. Of course the girls will fight and get mad and everything will be the guys fault if there is a shortage of males. In the US we have the opposite problem, there are all kinds of women, but only a few are attractive. So naturally, we have PUA websites in the US and lots of good looking guys dating fat chics because thats what we have over here. Women in Russia and the Ukraine can't really afford to become fat, there is a much smaller percentage of out of shape women in Eastern Europe.

There's a huge abundance of attractive females and you can pretty much do whatever you want and a line of them will form waiting their turn for you to abuse them and move on to the next one.

Interesting article and thread. Having traveled Eastern Europe extensively in the past, the brutality and whatnot is real, but not every guy beats his gf/wife. If anything they're about 60-70 years behind the "west" in terms of feminism, so the women are still demure. However, the younger chicks were fairly modern and slvtty and fun to party with. It's a weird blend of modern traditionalism.

Understand that those who generally speak English well enough to write for a newspaper tend to have a lot of money. Chances are this little princess comes from a pretty wealthy family. Eastern European wealth and western wealth are not the same either. Those people have a sense for opulence that would make the Queen Mum blush.

Many of them educate their children abroad. The USA, UK, Northern Europe. Many of them are going to be indoctrinated into the feminist beliefs those institutions push. Socialism, feminism, any liberal ism for that matter tends to be hammered into students. So chances are the silly little dyke is very angry because

a) She has been taught that men are the problem
b) by Ukrainian standards, she is a pig

Eastern European women are no angels. They are demanding and they are old fashioned in many ways. Which means that they are quite open about their gold digging because they believe that real men provide for their families. This puts a lot of men off them after a while. I dont understand that mentality to be quite honest. You cant expect a traditional girl with traditional values yet expect her to pay for half of everything. If she belongs in the kitchen then someone has to put the food on the table.

MTV has invaded Russia and Eastern Europe and many will mimic what they see in the west. Many though completely reject western culture. They may like the lifestyle we lead but they have very little respect for the character of the people. The women in particular are highly educated and most have hobbies of some sort. You have HB10's there with PHD's in the sciences. They dont try to get by on their looks because for every HB10 there are about 30 others walking right behind her.

There is a shortage of men in those countries. Physical shortage. Then there is a shortage of eligible men, which makes it an even bigger problem for the women. They lead a hard life and most people who do have jobs earn enough to survive. The men drink hard, do a lot of drugs and smoke heavily. The way they treat their women though will come as a shock to most people.

Eastern European and South American women have ruined me. I cant take western women seriously anymore. You get spoiled if you spend a long time there.

I have seen you mention this a few times. Learn to speak and read Russian if you are serious about doing it. I would also consider smaller towns outside the major city centers. Dont know how much of Eastern Europe you have seen but if you can settle near the Black Sea with a bit of money and the ability to speak the local language? You will be happier then a pig in ****.

As hot as the women may be, Moscow and St Petersburg are **** pits. Much the same for places like Tallinn, Riga and Warsaw. Awesome to go to for short trips but to live there is another story altogether.

Its subjective I guess. I dont find asian women attractive. When it comes to sheer numbers though, eastern europeans IMO. Its like they have factories in the mountains just churning out supermodel after supermodel. Walk in any of the major city centres and you head does not stop turning.

Been to Georgia and Czech Republic. I wanna do a tour of Poland all the way down through Hungary, Romania, etc.

And I haven't spent any time in smaller towns. I can only imagine that it's a lot better.

In Tbilisi women look at Americans like rock stars. And Americans are fairly common there. I remember walking down the street in the middle of city, walking by the stores and cafe's. The women working there would literally stop what they were doing and watch you as you walk by. It was the most bizarre experience of my life. I went from feeling like I was some sort of celebrity to feeling like a nobody as soon as I stepped off the plane back in the states.

It's amazing to experience the social dynamic at play when your status increases tenfold just by visiting another country. And especially considering the fact that many of these women are stunningly beautiful, cultured, articulate, and have interests that include more than tanning and shoe shopping.

I think it would be ADDICTIVE to live over there. I don't think I would want to come home. Seriously

Interesting perspectives.

I thought her article was actually rather frank and reasonable. She accounted for her own naivette and even female-crafted conventions:

But, while her perspective on marriage was somewhat objective, it is still decidedly female. I think this highlights how women will always see marriage differently from men.

And you cannot fool nature, unless surgery and hormone therapy are involved. Feminists, sportswomen, pianists, lesbians, tennis players and porn stars – they all still have periods once a month and they sometimes get moody and at 34 their biological clock is still ticking, no mater how independent, rich, beautiful and mature they were at the age of 25.

Ok, we can level with that.

I agree that marriage is not important for a family, but what if it’s the only way to prove that someone really cares about you and is not just passing time while waiting for someone better?

Ahhh, there it is. That latent female schema comes out.

This is the difference between men and women. Men (at least unplugged men) will never see marriage this way; as the only way to 'prove' you really care for her and arent biding your time. But, in all fairness, this attitude serves womens' primary imperatives--security and provisioning.

Again you can see her feminine imperative when she implies that a man who does not marry his long-time girlfriend is just keeping her at arms-length; likely waiting for a younger model to arrive. And this may be true. But, on the other hand, he may just have reservations of what will ensue if he DOES make that step. Maybe he likes things the way they are.


On a side note, as Harry mentioned, Eastern European women arent this mythical race of females who will cater to you every need all while being submissive, beautiful, and freaky in the sack. They can be very demanding, and money is important to them. Some of them are royal Ice B!tches.

But, when compared to the lot we have over here, they can make a guy feel like a king.

Did you notice in the article the woman said:

I'm not familiar with the culture over there, but she says "despite their American passports", and that implies to me that normally being American has some kind of elevated value.

I'd love to know more about that. If for no other reason that just to learn about how other parts of the world live.

Not just being American, Poms, Australians, Canadians are also on the hit list. The fact that you hold down a job, exercise and dont drink a half a bottle of vodka with your breakfast in the morning already makes you eligible. Be under no illusions though, the reason why the women are keen on you is because they consider you wealthy. If you are middle class or upper middle class, by their standards you are like a multi millionaire to an American women. That raises your status through the roof. Money, exotic and you wont beat the **** out of her once a month?

Which puts a lot of modern day western men off after a while. When you are paying for everything all the time you start to feel like a walking wallet. Then when her friend joins you for lunch and you are expected to pick up the tab with a smile you start to feel used. Its traditional gender roles though and they are things our fathers and grandfathers would have gone through. Men are providers. Men who cant provide are not real men. They are boys. Are they in it for the money alone? No. Is it a driving factor? Yes. Not just with you, even with their own local men.

The difference is that she is quite happy to spend all day tending the home and making sure the kids are picked up from school. She wont leave the house unless she spent time making sure she looks her best. She knows what competition is out there. She will **** your brains out just to make sure you are not straying. She wont bust your balls with needless drama because she herself does not need it to the degree that western women do. For me, it was always nice to be able to speak to them on the same level. They have an interest in current affairs, politics, music, art, history. They read books and newspapers. I cant remember the last time I dated a hot South African, Australian or English girl who had an interest in anything other then shopping and celeb gossip. Half the time they are "passionate" about something they have done a few times or because its all the rage with their friends at the moment.

I feel like I am entertaining a child half the time when I date western woman. History is boring. Current events are negative. Politics are poo poo and, like, you know, WRONG. Music is only music if its the *****cat Dolls or house music. She jumped out of a plane once and now considers herself a skydiver. She is passionate about the sea and has taken up scuba. I tolerate it because I need tits and ass but my favourite date these days is a movie at my house. That way the television set can entertain her for a few hours before I put her on all fours.

When I want conversation, Ill go have a beer with my mates.

Which irritates me no end when the western **** we live with daily talk these women down. Eastern European women are all gold digging, passport hunting *****s that dont understand the way of the world. They also all look like they were in the Olympic shot-put team. Its men and women that do it too. The manginas climb into it.

A few of my work colleagues ended up marrying Russian women which they took home eventually. People were making jokes about mail order brides and how these men were losers that had to marry foreign because they could not land a decent western girl. Makes me sick.

As for deciding on where to stay, it depends on what you like. If you are really into the arts, theatre, music, museums and extensive night life, your best bet is to be situated close to the major centres of Moscow, St Petersburg, Prague, Budapest and Kiev. If you are more of a laid back, read a book, go fishing, spend time at the beach with my kids kinda guy, then you want to be near the Black Sea or Mediterranean. That would be Bulgaria, eastern Romania, Croatia, Eastern Ukraine.

That left deep subconscious imprints that they and anyone who looks like them (white) are of a superior quality on a huge lot of minds of the colonized. Hell, in the "real world," I often notice I'm feeling an unexplained sense of respect to the white people around me. I bet there's a word for that! Anyway, this effect also makes you more appealing abroad in the non-white countrys. [Didn't mean to offend anyone. Just how I see it.]
