If your face is not long, or if you are not tall, then you shouldn't bulk up

Right now I'm 5'8 150 lbs, but my goal is about 175. I just feel better about myself as I get bigger. I don't give a sh1t what some girls think about "big" guys.

Here's to all my meatheads...

If your muscular and put heavy clothes on, she's not going to know you have muscle.. or care how strong you are. You look fat.
I got approached more by hot chicks at 25 % bodyfat then I do at about 12%

Sorry, and I know this is cause for flaming, but the skinny guys just got owned. (again)

Seriously, ask typical big guys who've been skinny having at leassst six lays a year whether they get more pvssy big or skinny. And, they don't even have to work out often as long as they have a fairly large upper body.

Here's something that might convince you: Take pictures of several different poses of the same bodybuilder. You could just google for Frank Zane (ecto), Arnold Schwarzenegrr (ecto-meso I believe), etc.

Recommended you buy the arnold schwarzenegrr bodybuilding encyclopedia as an old-school sosuave advocate who I forget advised. It has descriptions with the pictures of the poses that go a long way describing muscles that bring out definition. Then imagine those pictures in sequence and you realize the power of bulking & a little pose educating.

Sure, without juice I'm sure Arnold would have love handles, but when big guys flex its all about those different poses being animated. You begin to realize attractive bulking postures that quite frankly put skinny guys to shame.

And even though you might not have a completely visible six pack because you don't juice, every muscle that a girl finds attractive & feels good is always dramatically bigger & rock hard if you bulk or at least maintain with bulking exercises.

Jariel, you say that clenching a jaw can give a person that chiseled facial look?! I don't think that clenching a jaw will effect the person's cheeks.

I'm a skinny guy. The only exercises I do regularly are one-legged squats and pullups, and neither of those is going to make me bigger. I'm built on the skinny end of the swimmer physique.

Girls like guys with bigger muscles like steroidal Abercrombie models, but they like skinny rockstars too. The clothing I wear says a lot more about my personality than a guy who wears muscle shirts and basketball shorts to show off his huge body.

Basically what I'm saying is, big or skinny, if you want to look AWESOME and convey AWESOME things about your personality, clothing is at least as important as muscles. So everyone here who is bulking right now because they think they're too skinny, go get a kickass sense of style while you're at it.

Chances are those guys are powerlifters, or strongmen who often don't worry too much about bodyfat. They eat whatever they want, whenever they want. However, if you see the muscular, lean guys, (5'10 about 190-200lbs) who aren't HUGE like bodybuilders but aren't skinny like me (5'10 155) they get quite a few girls talking about their 'bods"
In my book a lean (10%) 5'10 guy at 190-200 definitly fall under the category of "Huge". His body will kick the ass of 95% of the gymgoers on the planet.

Lifeforce. This kid I go to school with is about 5'10, and weighs 190lbs ish. He's not huge by any standards. I'd say hes at about 12%bf as well. Now, if he was up in the 225, 250 range, that would be HUGE.

Silly boy. 190 is huge. 225 is humongous. 250 is ginormous. Don't they teach you kids anything in school nowadays?

The guys in flex are HUGE in my opinion. The guys on the covers of magazines like "men's health" and stuff like that are big, ish. Most of those guys are probably over 200lbs.

We should all find out what exactly "huge" is.

http://www.dailyhaha.com/_pics/body_builders.jpg

From left to right - skinny as fvck, medium sized, just right

Seriously though, I think that the first two are huge and I would never want to be that size. I don't care if I will get more women being that size, I think it looks bad.

http://uwe.net/img/home-models.jpg

That's the size and leanness I want to be and I'm sure most women would prefer a guy that looks like him than the first two on the first link.

I have a roundish face due to being half Polynesian. Lately I've been doing a low-GI diet (very little pasta, rice, bread, sugar) and my face is slowly getting more angular, like it used to be when I was in my 20s. I'm also doing a mild though regular weight routine at home, which is mainly upper-body focused (shoulders and biceps). I think it's possible to tone-up without bulking up. That is my goal, anyway.

I think you have to maximise your potential, period. So what if more chicks dig thinner, chiseled faces? That's a good enough reason for me to put in the extra effort and/or make minor lifestyle changes. We groom and wear clothes, for example, to impress women when going out...this is fundamental seduction technique.

What's the difference? We are here reading this website because we have all decided to close the pick-up skills gap. If your goal in all this isn't to ultimately impress women, then why are you here?

Be the best you that you can be, and the world will worship you.

It sounds like all you are trying to do is contradict others. Why don't you give a testimonial on how you pick up chicks by being skinny?

People....re-read my original post. I'm offering ADVICE. Yes, it's advice. It wasn't contradicting other people since I started the thread, I was trying to be helpful. If you want to be 300lbs of ripping muscle and 3% bodyfat then go ahead and do it. I'm just saying that from dealing with girls, the majority of them do not like guys with huge muscles, especially if it doesn't suit your look.

As for me disagreeing with the chiselled facial look by clenching one's jaw, it's because I've never heard of anything like that before. If he or anyone else can provide some type of evidence (via website or something) that a person can make their face look more chiselled by any type of excercise, then I will gladly apologize for disagreeing.

That's fair enough about the chistled chin, but just know that there is a huge difference between what women say they want in a man and what they actually want. Furthermore, testosteronized women will seek an estrogenized male. So next time a girl says she thinks muscles are a turn off, she is either lying or she is testosteronized. I agree that fat people shouldn't try to pack on muscle, but everyone can benefit from cutting and bulking, or just bulking, regardless of their body type or face shape. And like I said, if you can personally testify otherwise, then I'm all ears. Very few of the girls that I find attractive are with skinny guys, which is why I joined the fitness forum.

First, that isn't me in my profile. Secondly what is up your ass? 80% of your posts are negative comments towards people, and they are not helping anyone at all. I'm assuming you're a troll.
