Going to an all-boys high school is Game on hard mode.

There are 3 ways to have a decent high school mating experience at an all-boys school

1. Have a top tier physique and be a decent athlete
2. Have strong social ties in that region, particularly from the K-8 experience.
3. Your personal charisma must be amazing for the few school mixers with the all-girls schools.

@MatureDJ had neither of those 2 factors. For @MatureDJ , his lack of height would have made a co-ed high school bad too. I do think that an all-boys high school made his initial mating experience worse.

I have observed more long term negative effects in terms of mating from males who went to all-boys schools as compared to females who went to all-girls schools.
1. One of my good friends (from before this school) was a marginal-starter football player, and one his teammates had a girlfriend (from an all-girl's school) who had a friend that wanted to date a football player, and so it was served up on a silver platter, even though he was by no means a PUA (or a Chad).

2. I didn't even have this as I started attending in middle school, pre-puberty. But the social circles that others had basically grew out of fellow but female students in parochial middle-school. Now that I think about it, I had to adapt to making every opportunity whenever some social circle in which I was a distant member put me in contact with a decent-looking chick. I remember one particular gal - one with a nice banging body (not that I was allowed to experience it ) - that I took to one of my dances who had like a dozen pictures of dances she had gone to with other lads, ALL of whom of course heightmogged the sheet out of me (OK, I almost assuredly brainmogged them all ). I could picture a friend visiting her seeing my picture and saying "who's the short guy"?

3. My high-school was so Incel that not only did we not have any mixers, we had the attitude that our tradition of not having girl cheerleaders (our peer schools all had them) was a point of pride. That said, we did get a lot of the peer-female schools have their dance teams perform at football games as part of the band, but only the most suave was able to pierce the almost impenetrable cloistering.

(I should say that the experience that US Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh had a very similar high school experience, and even being on the football team did not help his Inceldom. And one of the peer-female schools I had mentioned earlier was the same school that US Supreme Court Amy Comey Barrett had attended.)

“I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter,” Kavanaugh said.

We have both observed that a male's mating success in an all-boys high school depending on his social network from K-8, either a K-8 Catholic co-ed school, a public school, or a non-religious private school.

If a male doesn't have a strong K-8 social network, he's going to have a bad time socially in an all-boys high school. That bad time in high school is likely to carry lifelong effects.

There are some males who would have issues either in a co-ed high school or an all-boys high school.

That's utterly insane that your high school didn't have mixers with the all-girls schools in the area. Those mixers are at least a half-asssed effort for there to be co-ed mingling.

In Phoenix, all-boys high school Brophy is adjacent to all-girls high school Xavier. It seems logical that high school boys from Brophy could walk over to Xavier once school ended for the day and do street type approaching on Xavier girls. That's probably the closest to a co-ed environment that anyone at a single sex high school would get. I doubt anyone would go more than a couple of days without interacting with the opposite sex given how close those 2 schools are.

(I should say that the experience that US Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh had a very similar high school experience, and even being on the football team did not help his Inceldom.
Both Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch went to the same all-boys prep school in the DC area. Unlike Phoenix, their all-boys school didn't have an all-girls school within walking distance.

My sense is that Brett Kavanaugh was likely awkward in his interactions with women during high school and for many years after as a result of attending Georgetown Prep, his all-boys high school. Had Kavanaugh attending a co-ed private high school or a public school, he would have been less awkward with women. I doubt that his Supreme Court confirmation hearing would have ever discussed his social life had he attended any sort of co-ed school.

If Kavanaugh did not get laid at an all-boys high school or for years after, it seems to me that the all-boys high school experience had somewhat of a lasting effect on him. He probably didn't get laid until junior or senior year of college at the earliest. He might not have even gotten laid until he was in law school. He did go straight from undergrad to law school, as the majority of law school attendees do. If he initially got laid for the first time somewhere between ages 20-24, it's plausible how that would have been problematic for him at the time and the effects of that likely have lingered throughout his lifetime.

He may well have not scored until he had his law degree and could StatusMax. One wonders if he had EscortMaxxed a bit.

It's interesting to read this pre pandemic thread I made a while back.

I'd honestly say that the pandemic had quite a few negative impacts on the overall social atmosphere that have just not quite recovered. I believe that now more than ever young adults are more glued to their phones and are overall less social, especially with total strangers. I feel that this was already an issue for younger millennials and gen zs that was made worse by the lockdowns. It's not a great time for well meaning young men to meet women, rather unfortunate but it's just the reality of things.
Indoor masking was one of the worst things for Game during the pandemic. In indoor retail settings, a man can make strong eye contact and smile to see who is receptive to his approaches. When everyone is indoor masking, a key body language indicator is removed. For about 2 years, indoor masking was quite relevant. In the last 9-12 months or so, it's fallen off and mostly normal. Most people aren't wearing masks in grocery stores and malls. Indoor approaching is slowing returning.

Outdoor approaching was the biggest thing during the pandemic. Outdoor approaching has been damaged by smartphones, earbuds, and increased dog ownership. A lot of women only go outdoors wearing earbuds and/or dog walking. Both earbuds and dogs are penis blocks. The presence of a dog won't enable a woman to focus through a short conversation that would assess compatibility to determine worthiness of a 1-2 hour first date. Earbuds reduce women's openness to being approached.

When I do day game I usually let the women initiate eye contact and give me cues to open her. Initiating on women during the day without getting any hints is a good way to get kicked out of establishments. At the end of the day, there are still attractive guys that women are still initiating eye contact with regardless of masks/pandemics/dogs/earphones/etc.

In any social situation where you think is hard, there is a sexy guy in there cleaning up. That's the lesson I've learned just from people watching. After watching how easy it is for a guy when a woman is really attracted to him (eye fvcking him), I refuse to approach without clear signs of interest. To me, cold approaching is just dumb/try-hard, and socially uncalibrated.

You're doing the right thing. I have had my photos rated online and they've all been rated in the 6.8-7.4 range. I'd be an upper tier normie.

I don't get a lot of IOIs when I go out and do approach sessions. I never have.

I try my best to only approach when I get IOIs because those approaches are more likely to do well. My IOIs have historically been so low that I've had to approach without IOIs in day game.

One of my male friends is 6'4" and ran exclusively night game and never looked for IOIs. His game was spam approaching in bars. Because of his 6'4" height, he was able to get away with that. Any sub 6'0" guy would not have had as much success with that.

To me, cold approaching is just dumb/try-hard, and socially uncalibrated.
It's a much more difficult path to approach strangers without IOIs. Most approaches will fail. Many men struggle in handling the quantity of rejections.

Initiating on women during the day without getting any hints is a good way to get kicked out of establishments.
If you're a sub-5 in looks, then that is true. Since I'm roughly a 7 in looks, I can get away with approaches without IOIs first and not get kicked out of indoor retail establishments. However, I've still taken way too many soft rejections (conversation fizzles out without a direct rejection or an IHAB).

Masks, pandemics, dogs, and earbuds are more likely to impact normies than the top tier.

There is a major university in the city where @sangheilios lives. While that city has too large of a population to be a college town, the university is an important part of that city.

Additionally, @sangheilios is 33 years old and not a current student at that university. How's he going to attract 18-22 year old undergrads? It's not out of the question that he might be able to attract a mid to late 20s grad student. However, grad students are not that desirable. Attractive women possessing feminine traits do not pursue graduate level degrees.

Without being a student at the university, he lacks access to the student women as well.
