I want to date an older girl, what should I know?

I'm 22 and I want to date the hot personal trainer at my gym. I had previously thought she was about 21, but I saw her up close and talked to her and I think she's more like 28. She is in phenomenal shape, has a nice big ass, cute as hell face that looks 21. I definitely want her. I don't know how to go about getting her, though, and it sucks seeing her about 4-5 days a week at the gym (she's almost always busy with clients, though).

Do you guys have any tips for a young guy going after a girl six years his senior? The main caveat is that I live at home with my parents and have no perm job (should get it together within 6 months, though) and she's an independent woman (or it seems that way, at least).

Don't have any real advice for you, except when I was your age I used to bag the odd "older" girl but usually got burned because I was living at home and you'd have to be something pretty special in the looks and personality department to get in with this broad, because if she's that hot and at a gym, guaranteed everyone and their uncle is hitting on her night and day and she either has a steady boyfriend or a steady stream of boyfriends. If she found out you lived at home, I doubt she'd be interested. The only reason I ever got down any of these broads pants back then was because of my looks and nothing more, and the reason I always got burned was because I was WBAFC back then.

Are you getting any interest from her? Eye contact? Anything?

Quick anecdote: I had basically about four or five dates in high school, no confidence, total AFC. My freshman year of college I reinvented myself 500 miles away from home. I met one of the hottest gals in school, she was 24 and I was 18. I dated her for a little while because I thought I should be with her. I also thought she was out of my league and could've hung onto her if I wasn't an AFC. She thought I was cool and relaxed. I had big football jocks wondering how a skinny cross country guy is dating this ultra hottie? Answer: I thought she should be dating me and not them.

It's not like I don't have my **** together...I just graduated college recently so I'm no bum, just younger. I've seen her look at me, but not too much or she's extremely subtle. I am a personal trainer also, and have been for 17 years. When I look at chicks in a gym...I'm sorry to say this in public but often it's not sexual but for business.

As a trainer I look at peoples potential to develop and I see them as dollar amounts that I could earn. And I don't go to gyms to train but to work out for myself to get away from my own gym.

What I'm saying is that she may just be looking at you from a physical developement view point. Its what trainers do.

Also the sign at the door says for 25 and up. Your only 22. Your not quite ripe enough for this section homie. It's about YOU, not whom your chasing.

Now I realize your looking for advice cause she is an older woman and all that. But you are not an older man, and here that is what counts.

Yeah Player, I agree.

All of us "mature" men at some point in our lives have been told that someone or something was "out of your league". IMO, that rejection is something that a man can learn from and adpat accordingly.

Now I do agree that One on One's chances with a 28 year old hot personal trainer are about nill to zip. However that's not the real issue. I'm more interested in seeing how One on One will ADAPT to the reality of social hierchies.

One thing he could do is make friends with the trainer and increase his social circle that way. He'll gain invaluable practice on how to have conversations with attractive women, plus he'll have great social proof from which he can work on other girls in the gym.

Don't conform to leagues. Adapt to them such that you still accomplish your goal.

If you really believe she's in your league, you would have already made a pass at her instead of posting here... so you obviously don't think you can hang with her.

Here's a good tip.... get a freaking job for starters.... you have time to hit the gym 4 or 5 times a week but have no permanent job?

Next, after you become gainfully employed, move out of mom's house. At any time during this process you feel on equal ground with this 28 year old hottie, then by all means go for it. There is no magic formula, no clever phrase, no sure way to do it. Just be yourself (which hopefully by then will be an independent young man on his way up in the world) confident, happy, and well adjusted. Good luck!
