So i was in the gym yesterday, working hard as usual. It just so happens on i was completeing my 4th set of 5x5 squats with 275lbs. So i notice during my break, a couple of new guys to the gym, and low and behold one of them is the rookie cop that busted me a couple months back and suspended my license( he was a real D1CKHEAD, to say the least).

They notice me working hard on my squats, as they were working hard on their curls, lol. So yea, as you can imagine they are bigger than me, and stroll over, the cop looks me up and down, smiles, and asks if he could knock a set out. So i know he's just trying to show me up, so I'm like 'okay, guy, have at it'.

So he gets under the bar and unracks it, and surprise surprise, mr. dognut diet, can't hanlde the weight and slowly begins to sink. Now I don't help, instead i watch as his buddies grab each end of the bar and have to pull it off him.

So then, they help him rerack it. And what do i do? I said 'fvuck it' and threw on 20lbs. They are like, "your adding more weight?"..I didn't answer, And busted out my last (painfull) 5 reps. You should have seen the look on their face.

Now, mr. dognut diet is getting ragged on by his buddies, cuz me and my 5'8 160lb just out squatted him. Then, they come up to me and nicely say, 'thats alot of weight', to which i reply, 'don't sweat it, I have a bigger d1ck than you, so i can lift more'. Hollyshiettt, they turned red, cause there was a cutie next to us, and just walked away.. I suppose I'm gonna get pulled over soon, but i think it was worth it?

Just a gym rant, lol.

Lets hear your gym rants... my other is the guys that fvuking use the squat rack as a damn curl station

I lift in my basement, not to many stories there, i lifted without a spotter on bench once and almost died. Thats about all I got.

I work out in my garage with a bench and punching bag, and a treadmill, and i remember when i was starting, i tried to bench a lot of weight, and realized it was too much after i took it down, and was like trapped alone under it.. After a minute or so of me getting worried i managed to prop up a side, and roll out of it.. So much to learn about working out without my trainer.

The guys with the home gyms are lucky in retrospect. You don't have to sit and wait for some metro to bang out his 4 sets of curls on the squat rack. Or watch the 'hardcore metro' who can't bench 155lb, throw on 185lb, unrack, move it 2 inches, then rerack, and call that a rep.

How much do you bench?
 

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

when i was powercleaning I didnt have a spotter and i feel backwards with the weight If i wasnt able to bench it i wouldve died

or the guys that have to stand within an inch of the dumbbells when doing their curls.. so you ahve to sit there and wait until they are complete before you can grab ANY dumbbell?

People who lay down on equipment, get up, and the equipment is soaked in their sweat and they dont clean it.

Lets not forget the dumba$$ women... I was benching once, as part of a circuit, left to go some crunches, which is the 2nd in the circuit...But i left my weight racked on the bar, i placed my towel on the bench laid out; this woman goes over takes my towel and throws in on the floor and proceedes to go her flys on the bench..So i just walked over and stood over her until she asked me what my problem was, which i directly indiciated...

lol, and then does curls... How about the guy that only squats 100lbs, when he weighs 180, and then talks about how much he trains his legs; and on top of that, tries to give you advice.

For me the worst is when you're all pumped up and doing a heavy set of either squats, bench, or any other heavy body work out, you're extremely focused and then some douche bag interrupts you in the middle and asks "how many more sets do you have"
