I tried to look at that but couldn't as I was too distracted looking at this: http://www.t-nation.com/avatar_images/9/6/96361.JPGQuiksilver said:Here's an example of a physique that is simply beyond reach for most people, for reasons like lack of dedication/fear of food/fear of fat/fear of lifting heavy/genetics.

He's not exactly a "roided out monster" but he's got a substantial amount of muscle. Simply put, you more than likely will never get close to a body like this, so stop worrying that what you're doing could make you huge.

You want to look like that??
And get real dude, to get big naturally(no roids) takes 8-15 years at LEAST. You're tossing that around like it's easy to do, and that guys should aim a little lower.

IMO there's only one track to be on to gaining muscle and losing fat. If you're aiming to have a body like 'brad pitt' you should still be doing the same basic things as the guy who's benching 700lbs and has more muscle weight on his frame than brad pitt weighs in total. The only thing that should differ is the amount of food you eat, the amount of cardio you do, and how heavy you lift.
To think ..."Look at those huge and ripped guys, I don't want to be like them so I won't do what they do"... is just misguided and poor logic.
The principles are the same: lift progressively heavier weights, do cardio, eat protein-dense diet. The factors that determine whether you get "roided up" or not are 1) how much food you put in your mouth 2) genetics.
You can control #1, not #2. So the only thing you have to think about in order to either look like brad pitt or look like dave gulledge is how many calories you eat(assuming you're eating a good high protein diet).
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
