you don't NEED to have a muscular body to get chicks, but it definitely helps! Pook had an article on this back in the day

Ask any guy who put on noticable muscle if he got more attention from girls. The answer is always yes. You obviously have to have some game too, but anyone that says muscles don't help is either lying or ignorant. Just work out to put on moderate muscle, not incredible hulk muscle. If you're wearing a nice form-fitting shirt, the clothes just look better on you.

Goto a club and you'll see TONS of guys who are sitting in the back wondering why the 20,000 hours they spent in the gym isn't attracting girls. Its all about Game.

Um it's not "all" about game anymore than it's all looks. Absolutes are dumb and frankly i feel like a stupid ass for even having to post this because i assume most of you know this without it needing repeated for the bazillionth time.

How the hell do you know what they are wondering by the way? They're probably really thinking "i wish i weren't so shy." "i wish i knew what to say to girls."

A body alone isn't often going to get you the girl. It sure as hell isn't going to hinder and i bet it will even sometimes outdo the guy with better game than you but is average-ugly as long your game is decent. "Girls don't care as much about looks" somehow gets turned into "girls don't care at all and you can be one of the anomaly super ugly dudes with a 10 and not even have money!" Ridiculous. Before i even had game or even lifted or anything i had girls plop into my lap without me doing anything because i was the most attractive of my friends naturally. Hell i still barely have game - i never do cold approaches, and i'm not hurting for girls.

Nice going on inflating the hours spent in the gym and perpetuating the myth that working out more and longer is better. I spend about 3.5 hours in the gym a week during my freakin lunch break at work. So while rest of the average folk are goofin off doing what amounts to nothing i'm socializing, training, and accomplishing something that makes me feel good.

I think women don't like guys who look like some sort of steroid freak, they like toned, lean, naturally athletic looking guys. I think what you need to shoot for is more like Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, or the guys in the movie 300 at most. That kind of musculature.

You want to look like that??

And get real dude, to get big naturally(no roids) takes 8-15 years at LEAST. You're tossing that around like it's easy to do, and that guys should aim a little lower.

Here's an example of a physique that is simply beyond reach for most people, for reasons like lack of dedication/fear of food/fear of fat/fear of lifting heavy/genetics.

He's not exactly a "roided out monster" but he's got a substantial amount of muscle. Simply put, you more than likely will never get close to a body like this, so stop worrying that what you're doing could make you huge.

IMO there's only one track to be on to gaining muscle and losing fat. If you're aiming to have a body like 'brad pitt' you should still be doing the same basic things as the guy who's benching 700lbs and has more muscle weight on his frame than brad pitt weighs in total. The only thing that should differ is the amount of food you eat, the amount of cardio you do, and how heavy you lift.

To think ..."Look at those huge and ripped guys, I don't want to be like them so I won't do what they do"... is just misguided and poor logic.

The principles are the same: lift progressively heavier weights, do cardio, eat protein-dense diet. The factors that determine whether you get "roided up" or not are 1) how much food you put in your mouth 2) genetics.

You can control #1, not #2. So the only thing you have to think about in order to either look like brad pitt or look like dave gulledge is how many calories you eat(assuming you're eating a good high protein diet).

I remember him being more muscular in Die Hard and a couple other movies when he was younger, that is what I meant.

Who gives a f*ck what girls think of your physique? And reality check you have to work your ASS off to get substantial muscle gains, which most people could never even do anyway.

Do what makes you feel good. I like lifting, I like going to the gym, I like being muscular. Then again I've also taken breaks where I've been more of a cardio guy...jogs, hikes, swimming, surfing..and changed my physique.

Point is I feel great and look good. And that ultimately is what really gets women to you, not sitting in your bedroom looking at yourself in a mirror all night.

i heard that women don't like really insecure guys.

wait, i didn't just hear it. it's true. you can take that one to be bank. the rest of this is just bull****.

(can i get a check on how many posts it took for this thread to devolve into the equivalent of a brad-pitt-in-fight-club thread? i couldn't be bothered to read the whole thing.....)

And who is doing this?

Sounds like female shaming language to me.
