guys, i wouldn't really know where to post this which is why im just taking a guess.

im taking up nursing right now and then this gay clinical instructor of mine just assigned me to be his patient for a demonstration in front of the class on how it is to bathe a patient in bed!

in short, he's asking me to strip right down to my shorts in front of at least 41 people with 5 out of 9 guy classmates gay!!!

holy sh*t!!! and i cant do anything about it! im also skinny which is why im having problems taking my shirt off for "display".

i also have some "battle scars" on my back from my riot days. but the main problem i have is that i also have a lotta hickeys and they ain't gonna be gone in just a few days!!! im gonna get embarassed! what should i do? and what kind of impression would they get from seeing my hickeys?!!

and to top it all up, that gay clinical instructor of mine is gonna be rubbing and doing whatsoever my body! shi*t!!!

i really need you all in on this.

Look at it this way...suppose YOU were professor in that class, and you asked a hot girl in class to come up and undress and let you bathe her. Do you think that would be allowed?

Tell him you feel uncomfortable being in that position. If he threatens to lower your grade or otherwise penalize you, take it up with the administration.

Then again, if you're going to be a nurse and this is what you're going to be doing for a living, you may want to consider this: What if one day YOU have to bathe a gay patient? If you're going to feel this uncomfortable about it, is this really the career for you?

If you decide to do it, F**K what they think of your scars and hickeys.

I think its unreasonable for you to be picked as a prop for this sort of exposure. Imagine if the teacher picked a girl. Unthinkable.

You run the risk of being labeled. Girls will already know what you offer so their won't be any mystery. The teacher could potentially spin soooo many jokes at your expense. The possibilities are endless.

Just politely refuse to do it.

I wouldn't want to do this myself. Not so much that I'm homophobic (I'm not) but rather that I just wouldn't want to take my clothes off in front a group of people with whom I have to work on a daily basis.

Don't worry about what your body looks like- unless all of your classmates are muscle marys!!

ok guys.. im still gearing up for this one. 15 hours left before i strip. i agree. despite my physical shortcomings [is it?] as being skinny, i might get my balls really tested on this one.

just talked to people and they said they can't do anything about it cuz they were also "in line" involuntarily.

im still not at all as comfortable as i wanna be. but i guess this is gonna test my balls more than cold approaches.

i did tell him i didnt want to. in fact, i refused 3 times in class! but then i still "couldn't do anything about it". other instructors also said that "it was just my turn" and i dont have a choice but comply.

If you are in any way squeamish about the body, either yours or other peoples and if it really matters to you whether someone touching you is gay or not... then you are seriously in the wrong class! Get out now, this is not the career for you.

This is just a small part of nursing and based on what some of my friends who are nurses have told me, is one of the least unpleasant parts.

So your classmates are going to see you stripped down... you are all going to see a lot more than that before your course is finished. Like you yourself wrote, it is just your turn, they will all have theirs.

Yes, I have had to strip down in front of classmates when I was still at university because my course involved a lot of anatomy and rehab units. It's just a part of the job and if you don't start learning to be professionally detached, then you are going to have a hard time as a nurse.

Forget about the people in your class who might see your hickeys and skinny body. I guarantee you that if they don't become professional about it pretty damn soon, they won't even make it past the first semester.
