See, that's another thing...I actually DO try to give constructive advice...and I put a lot of thought into the advice I give, too. Anytime I first post on a thread that's what I'm doing...giving advice

I know you give quality advice Wylde and I appreciate it. I did say that my comments were not directed at you. I was just on a rant about the low quality of advice that is actually given on this site and I posted it on your thread because a few posters were discussing the purpose of this site.

Too many guys on here are always responding with "NEXT!" or "Go read the Bible you stupid newbie!" Those posts don't teach anyone anything or help anyone. It just breeds more of the same low quality crap posts this place already has too many of.

Anyway, the only advice I have to give to you is the same advice I gave to you earlier. Just be yourself and respond in any way you choose and if they ban you for that, so be it.

I intend to post how I always post. I pretty much made that clear in my first post that I won't just sit back and take crap. I just wanted to let everyone know that I was told I would be banned if I didn't accept a different set of rules and let Allen and the mods know that they would be banning a valued member for a really lousy reason. That's really about it. Things have kinda strayed back and forth to other topics and what not...but that's cool too...I'm not anal about keeping things rigidly on one topic. Some of the best discussions grow from something else.

See, if just ignoring the personal attacks worked I would do that, but I'm not just some average poster that could easily blend in and not attract much attention. When a person stands out in the way that I do you can't just ignore the flames because that actually causes even more flamers to come out of the woodwork. Ignoring it actually makes for more disruption than responding does.

Crotchsniffer is a hoot...very funny guy. I remember when Pen and Gio announced they were getting married Crotchsniffer started a thread saying he and I were getting married. I was laughing my ass off most of that thread.

No clue...I never really talked much to her. All she ever did was try to get guys to hit on her from what I saw. To be honest with you, the only time I ever even saw her posting was when I was posting on a thread that was blowing up with responses and she would jump in trying to grab some attention. I usually don't post on the type of threads most women who come here post on. The only women I actually got to know at all were penkitten, VeryBadGirl and RebelLeader (I think that was her name). They all posted pretty much in the same fashion that I did and were interested in discussing things seriously more than getting hit on.

titman, your posts really crack me up. And you've a made a fair point too -- it's shocking how many people will worship somebody with a tacky photo, depicting them with their arm around some wh0re who could easily be their sister. :crackup:

However, Jariel isn't completely off base.....he just takes his ideas way to far. Sure, pure ss isn't great for an LTR but that doesn't mean it isn't effective for picking up women. Just depends what you want in life.
