I'm not avoiding them, it's the other way around. I don't get that much traction out there and don't feel my approach is invited, except, if I'm biking in the city island and people are like tourists or in a relaxed frame of mind or maybe in church. Most of the time it feels like you are bothering people unless you have a business excuse for approaching them. Even cashiers are not that friendly with me. If you keep getting negative feedback you are sort of going to say that's a bummer and move-on to something else. God has yet to smile on this area of my life, seems like a frown most of the time.
