I just got a text message from a chick I had a date with tomorrow. She canceled our date and had some lame excuse. What's the best way to respond?

I figured I'd either just say "ok" or not respond at all.

I don't want to act like I'm mad. I just want to show that I'm better than that ****.
Don't respond period. Let her sweat you out for a week, if she calls you back and wants a new date, you're in for the most part.

imo you have a couple of options when it comes to this situation. If it's a first time flake and she lets you know in advance either replying with "thanks for letting me know, chat soon" or no reply can work. It's all the guys who become aggressive and demand to see the girl which makes flaking such a taboo subject and conditions girls to flake without giving warning. Now from here I would leave it a week or so then call her. If she doesn't answer send a text. No reply. Try again a week or two later, no answer. or returned call. next her. You don't know the circumstances and although nexting any girl who "disses" you is a great ego guard, and I used to do it. I've had a lot more success by saying "thanks". Maybe she has a boyfriend, or any number of other things. It's actually pointless guessing. But brush it off..unless she flakes by not turning up or cancelling minutes before or after the date or doesn't let you know. These are require diff tactics...
