Maybe not, but a monetary system based on debt cannot go on forever. Most nations have a fiat based currency where value does not exist until debt does. Once all the debt is payed off, there is no currency in circulation. It's not sustainable. The only way to keep it going is to keep creating debt to create value. Doing this creates inflation which lowers the value of the existing currency. What happens when gas is so expensive, it's not worth it to work just so the check takes care of the gas bill? What happens when food is so expensive, low class people are working to only pay for food, and not other bills/needs. It will not be worth it to work. Once the low class say "fvck it, it does no good to work", the domino effect starts and everything goes down.

what is the proper standard of living for any one man. not all can be king. is gas something we are entitled to. a very high percentage of ppl in the world even now work all day for only food.

You're right about the spoiled generations of the west, which is why I'd surmise that it'll cause a breakdown in society rather than capitulation. I can tell you, if I had to face the choice of working 40 hours a week, and only can afford food, and not rent, heat, medicines, ect, I'm going to resort to thievery to survive. It would be idiotic to walk 10 miles to work in the winter to just afford food, and get pnemonia as a result where you can't go to work, get fired, then no food.

crime is real. as men, we have to protect what is ours. items, family..., women, food, money,..... if another is to steal one of those, how shall we respond? I assure you that an example is usually enough to cause others to not do it. For most walking10 miles is preferable to death(i did exactly that as a young one). one of the things I like where I live is that it is legal to protect land, items, WOMEN, food, money. If someone steals a woman, we have the right by law to deal with them.

I think that is another area where the “nice guy” goes wrong and loses out to the bad boy. The nice guy meets a seemingly “good girl” and (understandably) just assumes she’s the relationship type who wants to take things slow.
