+1. As long as a girlfriend in a LTR has fear that you may leave her, she will NEVER leave you.guru1000 said:The only FEAR you should be instilling is the FEAR of WALKING AWAY. Her actions have to merit your attention and be respectful OR you will WALK AWAY.
So, most of you guys are wondering: "Well, Axcell, how do I ensure she will always have a fear of me walking away from her?" Well, let her see you are POPULAR with other ladies and ladies like you, let her know you have other things to do in your spare time and you are busy. Remember, the girl is NOT your life, she's a part of it. Finally, make sure the moments you share are SHORT but MEMORABLE.
Many guys in LTR's feel that their relationship is starting to die down from the intial infatuation they once had. After a period when you and your girlfriend have been very much together and sharing everything, it is sometimes refreshing to spend time alone. You have not fallen out of love; you just both need some space. It will help you feel even closer. And yes, that leads to my final point: SPACE. Don't be up and all over your girl, let her spend time with her friends and don't be that overeactive and jealous boyfriend. If your girl starts talking with a few guys, don't start trying to "control" her by turning 180 degrees and acting totally different. It's only normal for an attractive (well, I'm hoping it's an attractive girl) to be surrounded by many guys! Brush it off, and always have the frame of mind that: "Hey, let all these guys talk to her because these guys are idiots that are making me simply look good!" If you display this type of CONFIDENCE when you are around her, she will note it and she will NOT leave you.
However, there are always exceptions to everything. If she starts getting "touchy feely" with another guy, etc etc... than you must take action, and instill fear that you might leave her. But I mean, if she originally had that fear that you might leave her, she wouldn't have done anything like that in the first place.
