Actually man, that totally happens. Don't sweat it. I'm black and girls (before I started even using game on them) have said they didn't want to get in a realtionship with black guys because what their parents would say.
That's fu**ing retarded, but that's still how it is in certain places. The main areas to look out are in the midwest and south, but of course, I'm talking about America. The East and West Coast are pretty fond of the black men. Oooh heeeeelllll yes, they are!

Just curious, why does it seem most black guys always want to date outside of their race. Don't black men like black girls? To be honest with you, I am white and am only attracted to white girls or Latina girls. I do not know any white guys who are attracted to black girls. I dated a black girl a few years back and it didn't work out b/c her parents weren't comfortable with the situation. If i'm attracted to a female, i don't care what race she is; attraction is attraction.
I went to a predominantly white university and a lot of interracial dating took place (especially amongst the athletes). Most of the black guys seemed to be attracted and date white girls only, which created a lot animosity (black girls were mad as he11). If you can get the girl of your choice.......Why the he11 not?
In my area i really don't see a lot of racism, everyone is relatively excepting. Racism doesn't attach itself to one color or creed, i'm sure everyone on this board has experienced it at least one time in their life; it's just another one of lifes obstacles we must overcome.

Bottom line - black guys suffer from a lot of internalized racism. You black dudes here will NEVER admit it, but it's true. I've heard it from the mouths of blacks themselves, and I tend to agree. Blacks know that in this racist/unfair paradigm that they've set up, black features are the least attractive. Thick lips, dark skin, broad noses - whites consider these traits generally unattractive, and blacks have internalized it. This is why black women straighten their hair, and why black males (if they can afford to - literally and figuratively) date outside their race. A Chinese, a Puerto Rican, an Irish -- ANYTHING but my own black women, PLEASE!
And please, knock it off with that "everything's racist!" crap. Mahon83053 asked a perfectly acceptable question. It wasn't a "go date your own you N*gro!" type of slur - he was just asking why black men (indeed) do date a lot outside their race.
The matter of the fact is what it is SO EASY to hide behind the "I date X and Y races.... so I'm just being open-minded. I'm not be racist" crap. That's just a cover-up for one's own racism, internalized or not. And as a race of men that are 'on the bottom' in terms of the Eurocentric standard of beauty, black men have PLENTY of motivation to date out - it is literally 'de-blackening' their genepool, if they have children. Further proof is that most black men who date outside their race have something to offer to the non-black female - for her to consider facing the social stigma of being with a black man, he has to have something to offer her, like money, fame, streed cred, protection - anything to offset the social ostracism (yes - it's racist, but that's the reality. I deal with the same **** from people when I'm with a whitegirl.) of being with a black man, the biggest taboo. So essentially, it isn't their 'blackness' that these non-black women are drawn to - sometimes its just racial stereotypes (sexual, for example), sometimes its other things I've mentioned above - but almost every SINGLE time - it is almost never their Africanized looks. As a non-white, I've also learned this first hand. Reality's a biatch, ya'll.
Or course I do recognize that black men and non-black women really do fall in love - but that doesn't exonerate many relationships based on self-hate and racist sexual fetishes. A black man who hates being black and a white woman with rampant jungle fever does not a cool couple make. In fact, they are pathetic. So are white dudes with an Asian fetish and self-hating Asian woman, and self-hating Asian dudes with white chicks. They all need to be FVCKing HONEST - as long as you're upfront about it, it is at least honorable. I have never met an "anti-racist" person in my life.
I've met people who can't stand a certain race, and I've met people who claimed to be "anti-racism" but in actually were against a certain race (or any races) preaching pride, thus being prejudiced themselves.
People are prejudiced, deal with it.
People have preferences too, deal with that.
If some girl doesn't want to get with you because of your ethnicity, that's her decision. Some people just prefer to stay amongst their own racial kind...

Being an Asian I learned it first hand, and I also learned a lot through one of my best friends who's black (he's from Ethiopia).
Just for the anecdote, it seems that a lot of Ethiopians, especially the Ethiopian girls are considered attractive here in the US, and this because of their "non-black" features. Most Ethiopians have the caucasian looking nose and their skin is usually not "very dark". Most Ethiopian girls are thin, but still well rounded where it should be... yum...
I think all the minorities in this country have generally this internalized racism, it's just that you see it more often among the black community because they are the majority among the minorities and thanks to the media, they are getting more media coverage in general. Just look at how "white" are those "black" girls in the music videos and you will understand what "internalized racism" means...

Dude i'm not trying to make a racism doesn't exist post and i'm not trying to be the "look at me guys", i dated a black girl therefore i'm not racist......so why quote me. My point was, everyone is discriminated against, so don't use it as an excuse for your shortcomings in life.
I mentioned the i dated a black girl story to let people know that i'm white and she was black and her black parents were against it. In a sense, some black people have a problem with interracial dating, not just white people. That was my point!

People have preferences based on color/race/ethnicity - this is not out of the ordinary and is quite normal. Some people are racist and will not date certain races/color regardless of how attractive they are.
Hispanics/Latinos are made up of different races - and mostly have Spanish/white blood or if Mexican then mostly Native/Indian blood. Some Hispanics are only spainards and some are only Natives American and some are only black and some mix.

Some one who natuarlly is not attracted by some features of some ethnicities is NOT a racist, it's just the way it is. On the other hand some one who is physically attracted but who will say no just because of the race thing is a racist.
Does the fact that I only dig thin girls make me a racist against fat chicks? I don't think so, I would go for a chick who's well rounded if I just happen to be attracted by her(although that's rare), and that has happened before...
