How do women perceive a guys tears?

What I learned from my Dad....

....and I love the man dearly.... and that is.... crying is a sign of weakness.... and as hard as it may be sometimes, never let a woman see you cry. You can be sensitive, without the tears. Sometimes, a woman needs to see the strength on your face to keep it together, to keep things under control for that very moment.

I witnessed a couple lose a dog in a car.... it was her dog, but the guy balled his eyes out, and there she was, comforting him over the death of her dog. Not a good thing.

If men weren't supposed to cry...we wouldn't be able too. You cannot tell me that if you see a war movie and it get's tragic (saving private ryan, black hawk down, gladiator) that you didn't feel the tear ducts start up. Don't give me that bullshiat about men don't cry. Bull fvcking shiat. Now what everyone seems to be missing is they think crying is a sign of weakness. It is if you cry like a girl for a girly reason. For example the store is out of strawberry icecream, you ball your eyes out.

If you have a legit reason to cry: death, tragedy, pain, etc. Then cry. God gave us all emotions so feel them. Don't numb them. That day you cried is going to make the day you don't feel that much better.

The day i see one of my children born you are damn right i'm going to have tears going down my face. When i hold my child up in the air and thank god for this gift, call me a wuss. Touch my child and see how wussy i am. Any woman who loses respect for a guy who actual feels can fvck off. Talk about hypacritical(sp?). Women cry a hundred times more then men and they get turned off when we do?

In answer to your question though, your best bet is to be true to yourself. If you feel like crying, cry. - But not too much. Blubbering like an infant isn't attractive on anyone.

Eileen's just made because I said she's ugly. As far as my posting my picture was concerned, I did that because we have a bunch of guys who hide behind their computer screens, talking like bad asses about how they don't cry, they're such big DJ's with women etc.... My point was, lets see what these people look like, it might give you a better perspective of who you're taking advice from.


I don't care what anyone thought of my pic, I'll put my pic up against anyone's on here. I'm not trying to brag, but I feel I can back my shlt up. Eileen on the other hand, selectively sent her picture to a few guys, because "I didn't want a bunch of boys drooling over me and sending me e mail" THIS IS WHAT SE TOLD ME IN PM. If I had her pic, I'd show you guys what I was referring to.


As far as "qualifying" myself, I'm not sure what that guy was referring to. I know that it's not a sign of weakness to cry and if the female you're with thinks so...TOUGH.

I have no clue why this thread has hit such a nerve with you guys. If you've read any of my posts you can tell that I never pretend to be any kind of bad-ass. There are SOME times its OK to cry in front of a girl you're interested in. But damn, you guys act like we're telling you to give up your civil liberties.

I can't understand why you guys think that crying in front of a girl you are interested in (which is what this thread is about) is a good idea. Its a huge sign of weakness.

You guys are all confusing what we're talking about. I'm not saying that a man never cries. I'm saying that you have to be strong in front of a girl you are interested in. There is a difference between being a faggot and being a pvssy- boy. In this new aged world of sensitive men who've been sold a wrong bill of goods, we need to start reexpressing the original archetype of a real man.

Sorry kid showing emotions is never a sign of strength. I do not know what war you came from or whom you fought for. My dad was old school Army DI. (Vietnam & Korean Wars-Purple Hearts) His job was to teach his soldiers how to make the other sides strongest break down in tears and become emotional wrecks...so we could harrass and humiliate the enemy and destroy their confidence.

I know women. It used to be my business to know women. If I was pimping a girl to bring me money, do you think she would even respect me if I broke down into tears infront of her? Do you think she would feel safe with me as her pimp if I showed anytype of emotions infront of her?

In that game there is a saying "Pimp with your mind" That means use your mind in all situations. Not your emotions!

I wanted to repost my original post on this subject simply because, it's that good.

Like I said, I love my Pop, I guess some may view this as 'manlier than thou' ....I don't give a rats ass what some of you chumps think. Cry if you want to, go on, cry.... if you have to, do what makes you feel better. For me, my tears will only be shed for my family, and I hope that time never comes, but when it does, I'm sure I'll make time for it, privately. If you want to cry over a movie, do it, if you want to cry over a death of a dog, do it, if you want to cry because you got more estrogen than your gf does, go on and do it..... but do everyone a favor, and do it privately, and for God sake, do it not in front of a woman you damn cherries.
