The point that you are missing is that you can't just ban one type of gun or car and hope that crime will go down. You will have to ban all guns (and somehow confiscate the hundreds of millions that are already in circulation). It ain't gonna happen.
That logic is flat out wrong. If a mass shooter does not have a fire arm, he has to use a less efficient weapon to kill. Less deaths.

The people who argue against guns clearly are naive and don't know history. I'm all for more serious and extensive background checks as well as stricter gun laws but when you understand that during World War 2, Nazi's literally walked into innocent peoples' houses and blew their heads off, and you STILL support banning guns, you're an idiot.
Our main concern in America is the government.
Do you even know what advanced weaponry your government has right now? NAZI invasion happened almost a century ago. To stop the gov'ment from eliminating you, you would need Apaches helicopters , bomb robots, infrared cameras with guns , satellite precision bomb throwers.

You do realize that dont you?? That a AR wont stop the army from defeating Billy the magazine guy from Walmart??

They can destroy 67 baseball fields with one of those weapons lol. You guys are indoctrinated to kill each other and dont even care anymore...sad ..

Exactly. And if everyone is carrying, that would be someone's position very quick.
Nope. The armed security is not deterring school shootings at all. The cops are running in the other direction. Your vigilante scenario does not work in the real world.

Humans are self-interested above all else. They are going home to their family 99 times out of 100 than squaring up against some nutjob incel with an AR-15.

The most practical solution is to restrict the firearms.

Isn't this enough evidence?....
Very simple. The mind and body are connected and they both affect each other on a grander scale. Similar to fat women having bad attitudes. The mind and body are inseparable.

Give me a break. In Europe, you have no-go zones where even cops are afraid to venture. I would feel much safer at an NRA convention surrounded by people who armed to the teeth compared to walking the streets of certain parts of Marseilles, Malmo, Birmingham, etc.
Yeah and now imagine if you could BUY guns in those area's. Just think about it for a second...would be ...like the States

This response doesn't address mine.... Like you said,"humans are self-interested above all else". They will square up if they feel their loved ones are threatened. Which would happen very quickly if every one carried firearms.
It doesn’t. You are rationalizing a scenario that does not exist.

Funny to see this debate on SS.

My opinion is that these guys who cause "mass shootings" (quotes because this typically is defined as 3-4 "victims" of gun violence which seems like a bit of a stretch) are going to inflict damage in any way that they can. Whether they use guns, knives, or a vehicle that they run into a big crowd of people, if they want to kill a lot of people they can in modern society. Unfortunately, with greater technology comes greater responsibility and greater risk.

Guns are easy from the standpoint that they typically are the least personal way of killing another human being. You pull the trigger and it is over. A knife requires close proximity; a car you will hear and feel the carnage. But the fact is if guns are outlawed, these other methods would start getting used by these psychos.

Are there more or less mass shootings in countries with more gun restrictions?

Less - but also far less people in essentially every one of those countries outside of China - where there are far worse atrocities.

No one is disputing that when something like this happens it is bad. But the "we need more gun restrictions" solution offered by the left isn't going to work for a variety of reasons. I would think that be obvious.

It’s less per capita, which accounts for population difference.

It already works. It works all other countries. It works in “left” states. We have strict gun laws in New Jersey and by far the highest population density in the USA. We have low gun violence here. Not impossible to happen in my state, but far less probable than states like Texas and Alaska.

There's one. You can look up all the rest. From a quick search, it appears the fatality rate is higher when vehicles are used...
Specifically asked for daily mass plowings. That means show us empirical data that people are getting run over by incels at comparable rates to mass shootings here in the United States.

The truth comes out. You prefer to just accept the daily mass shootings.
Sadly this is the truth. They are fine with seeing literally their own kind, family, rich people, and even children get slaughtered by an AR-15. Does the Ar-15 have a secret pocket pvssy attachment that I'm not aware of because I seriously don't get why someone would advocate turning this country into a CCP mirror or Red Dead Redemption Hell Hole to protect this gun?

It's amazing you guys are blind for this. In Europe you simply don't have to worry some crazy maniac has a gun. There are guns, but it's a severe crime, a extremely hot potato nobody wants to hold on to it too long.
You made several misconceptions, but thankfully I, the informed gun owner, is here to save the day.

In Europe, you still have maniacs with guns. You just had a shooting the other day, so you're not clean from that.

Second, I'm curious of this obsession with the ease of getting a weapon rather than looking at why someone will want to get a weapon to begin with. It's clear education in Europe is just as stunted as here in America. Which says volumes about the UN itself.

Here we go again with the "do you know how strong your government is?" If they were so strong, then why do they constantly bid out for weapons to civilians and private weapon manufacturers, the same people that I have access to? Why do they need our tax money to even fund their weapons to begin with, when I could easily put that money into buying my own small little army?
