I haven't done farmer walks in years, and I tried it again. I recently did laps of 45lbs x2 then 55lb x2 and I felt soreness from muscle groups I haven't felt in a long time.

I think I'm going to start doing farmer walks and weighted vest hikes more now, I am convinced they are one of the most effective ways to build strength/stamina, and grip strength which is highly correlated with overall fitness/health. When I was at my biggest years ago, I did farmer walks almost every day.

I got up to 120 lb dumbbells for like 6-7 minutes at one point when I was doing them. I'd be tilting the dumbbells in every direction possible to change the area stressed the most was until I couldn't hold them any more

They are really great for functional strength. I'm a big believer in static hold type work in general. Builds extremely dense, thick muscle on all 4 sides which most people don't understand how to do or why it's important.

Weighted vest hill climbs are literally the best thing you can do in terms of what translates to the bedroom...turns you into an unadulterated beast

Despite actually being a farmer, I had to look up the term. It makes sense, we're always carrying something. I would think buckets of water would work well, because the weight moves on you and works different muscles, like a sandbag workout.

I just took a walk this morning, if I've got time, there are several things I do before I get out of the house to go to an event or leave somewhere. Here are some of them.

- Listen to a few late night TV Hosts like Jay Leno, Conan O Brien, Jimmy Fallon interviews of Guests on Youtube to get me in a social mood.

- Do a few Yoga Stretches and calisthenics to liven up your body and mood.

- Meditation- Center your mind on the possible scenarios with people or places that may occur and how you spicen and make things more fun and lively. Also Center your mind on Jesus and God to realize there's bigger issues at hand.

- Listen to a few uplifting and inspirational songs.

- Remember a few Positive Qualities about yourself, however small it maybe.

- Call up a close Friend or relative and see how they're doing.

- Go to a Facebook Group from any type of Physical or Mental illness you might be sufferring...might be Depression or Anxiety or whatever...to humble you and remember your humanity,

- Drink a Glass of Wine.

Hope this helps.

i don't even think my gym has 120...120 is crazy. i don't think i could do more than 75 for more than a minute rn, but who knows where i could be if i start doing this consistently. oddly enough its usually not even my grip/muscles that give out, but rather my entire nervous system, which literally starts feeling like it's shutting down.

do you try to make sure your hand is fully squeezed against the handle? i find my grip slipping and i end up doing the last part with the kettlebells hanging off the ends of my fingers. im not sure how much this matters, but i do attempt to maintain a tight squeeze around the handle, which requires chalk.

and ill just say it again but idc about endurance in the bedroom. the day my libido is high enough to want to thrust for more than than 10-15min without getting bored, ill start trying to improve that element.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I started out for as long as I could with my hands in the middle of the DB and then I would slide them to one end and tilt the DB one way, hold them for as long as I could that, then slide them to the other end and tilt them the other way hold them as long as I could and then back to the middle again. When they are tilted, part of the DB is resting on your closed hand so that helps slightly.

Repeated for as long as I could hold them. Then would usually put them down for like 30-40 seconds and pick them up and do it again but the 2nd time was much shorter...maybe a minute or two at most before my forearms would after almost spasming.
