My biggest fear is regretting not making the most of my life when I'm older, so I've always been reluctant to do something for 48 hours a week that I don't like. Lets face it, I don't think many people like going to work.Exactly. Now the question, comes back to how does one avoid the fate of the masses? And does one have the courage to do that?
And we arrive back at everything this forum stands for.
I have worked more than fifty hours a week for seven years now. I think I may be coming to the conclusion that this is just the way life is, so i'll just have to stick in & improve my life. That's why sometimes I wished i'd worked harder when I was younger. I could of made a better life for myself. That's what stood out for me in your post, you saying that you were going to push your kids to make a good life for themselves.
Most of the things I have mentioned so far are common I think. Regretting not working harder at school, people sick of their jobs.
I will add that I enjoy my job. I think there are a lot of people worse off than me.
