Hmmm. No... not in my experience. The top 10% would never find themselves in a situation where they are staring down someone. Top tier people only focus on those things that have a direct benefit to them. A true top tier man would be SHOCKED to be disrespected and see it for what it is, posturing by some Beta trying to make points consider the source and just ignore. When someone disrespects an Alpha he usually gets in their face and they usually back down.

I'm not a pack animal. I wouldn't know.I didn't make that up. That is Alpha Male Behavior 101.
He doesn't get in their face if he is on a date (as the saying goes, when you lose control you lose), but if disrespected say on the Basketball court, the Alpha will be the one who dunks in their face. It usually doesn't happen because everyone intrinsically knows who is the Alpha. If there are two Alphas, they will come to blows to see who is truly strongest.
Are we confusing the smooth, small dude with the Alpha male? Remember, by definition, the Alpha is physically the strongest. This is not "Game of Thrones", "Caveman" stuff.
Do we define Alpha as the physically strongest or the leader of the crowd? Or? What if the leader is not the physically strongest? What if the physically strongest is not a leader?I didn't make that up. That is Alpha Male Behavior 101.
