The one thing I've learnt in the months I've been here is that it's a constant struggle - work at it, like anything else, and you will get the results. Get lax, and your progress will suffer.

At the intermediate stage of your recovery , this is the most crucial. Then, I think, gradually, things will start to come more naturally, and again, as with anything else, you won't need to work as hard at it.

It's like learning to do anything, really.

but... a lot of things that you learn you can also forget.
there is always the possibility of reverting back to AFC ways, and i've seen that happen a lot here.

h ell, i've even done it. but what seperates that is: those that can recover from a brief AFC lapse, and those that cannot
