I hate when guys can't do something and they label it as "bad". Don't steer other men away from the club just cuz you don't have the balls to step up to women, or the game to pick them up. I constantly pull a minimum of three hos minimum every time I go to a club.

He's always going against the board, headstrong. Talking his Player Supreme Mack crap. Nobody said it was impossible to pick-up chicks in clubs, we're dicussing how the dynamics and realibility of that phenomenon is changing. Pulling 3-chicks goes under ''Girls give out their number like Candy''. You aren't pulling 3-chicks home are you? When you say ''pulling'', that means either making-out or getting a number.

I've really been noticing the sausagefest thing lately too. It seems to have gotten even worse in the last year or so. The last house party I attended had a higher than 3:1 ratio of guys to girls (yes, I actually went around and counted). All the house parties I go to are this way. Less than half the people who say they are coming actually show up, and the night eventually devolves into groups of 5-6 guys all pawing at the same girl, while 2 wannabe MMA bros in Tapout t-shirts are rolling around on the ground in the backyard strangling each other.

I go out to bars/clubs, and it's a similar sex ratio (not quite as bad as the house parties, maybe 2:1) with groups of 4-8 people standing in a football huddle talking exclusively to the people they showed up with and sending text messages every 5 minutes. The sex ratio increases as the night goes on, and on the way to my car I see more bros in Tapout t-shirts strangling each other in the parking lot.

I honestly don't see the big deal with clubs. I just go with friends and venture out on my own making small talk to people. If you come across as trying to pick them up and not just having fun for yourself women will sense it.

You honestly have to have a not give a fvck attitude and just have fun while talking and meeting people.

I'm not sure how many people have ever been to Atlantic City but Murmur, Mixx, and the B-Bar in the Borgata as well as the pool at Harrah's are EASY to pick up. Just walk around smiling at people who make eye contact and have fun. People read waaay to deep into this "pickup" stuff.

I agree the dude comes across as rather headstrong, but I wouldn't want to see him banned. I like to see as wide a cross section of opinions as we can get, and he does have his own unique perspective on things.

As for clubs, maybe they're getting worse, I don't know. But as long as there are places where males and females interact, there is going to be some hooking up going on.

Your concern is of great relevance to the current situation. All of the points that you made were very good. I think the most important thing to consider is that you’re social outings usually take place around your college campus. This might interest you. Some time ago I have also noticed that the odds in college bars and clubs can be discouraging. After graduating I found myself having a better time talking and socializing with women than ever before. And guess what? It was out side of the college seen.

You see in college women are more like girls, confused, dating guys that they’ll never see again. This is why in college all the good looking ones are taken. It’s almost like high school all over again, but not for long. Once I moved in to the city I was introduced to the Lounge, club, restaurant seen and things turned around almost instantaneously.

Also you maid some good points about the internet dating, cell phones, and how it’s making things a little more difficult I have to ask this question though, what type of a person would be afraid to come out and socialize in person? After all it’s our nature. The truth is that most of these people feel socially inadequate or that they don’t have time to interact normally with other people (right).

So don’t worry, get out there and start talking. Like you said “you can’t help but think that there’s still a lot of single girls out there” They are I guarentee it, it’s up to you to find them, go out there with confidence.

If I go to a club now, I tend to just drink and dance and see what happens.

I notice too many women walk around with c*ckblocks and b*tch shields, and I like a challenge, but I've never been able to smite a c*ckblock or smash a b*tch shield, so unless there are methods I can use to infiltrate then I'll stick to other places when it comes to scoring with women.

Back to the topic at hand, if I may vent...

The greedy club owners are creating more isolation by reducing the size of the public standing social areas and the dance floors to create more VIP areas and tables. The "table" thing just isolates a clique from the rest of the club, and you generally can't enter that area to meet those girls unless invited. I understand why the clubs do it. If you get a group of 6 people, do you want them to pay a typical say $20 cover each or have the group get a table priced from $400 to over $1000 instead? Add in some pricey "bottle service." No brainer.

As mentioned before, girls roll in much larger groups than ever before. Years ago, you would see a lot of groups of two girls. (Two-sets are manageable.) Now, I see 6, 10, sometimes as many as 14 girls in a group. So you can't just meet one girl and talk to her. You have to try to entertain Madison Square Garden (insert Wembley Stadium for the UK guys) lol. This creates more of a cliquey environment and isolation.

The funny thing is, with these large groups of girls, I have seen several nights where the girls actually outnumbered the guys. (This is more common when there are birthday or bachelorette parties going on.) You would think that would make it easy or easier? Absolutely not. It was just as difficult, if not more, than a sausagefest. The large groups of girls end up of the dance floor and the guys stay away since many of girls don't want to be bothered. They are content with their tight circle of psuedo-lesbian dancing during their "girl's night out." At the end of the night, I see three, maybe four girls out of the 100 making out with a guy they met that night. I haven't seen an extraction in a while.

If you want a drink and don't want to wait forever, I recommend that you find a gay bartender and go to him. I'm serious. Be friendly to him and you'll get great service. Plus he won't c*ckblock you or hit on your girl.

A straight male bartender will obviously give priority to women and make you wait unless it's slow or he knows you. A female bartender (hired gun in pickup lingo) is there to AW and will only give priority to the very hot or high status guys.

Don't even get me started on the "creep, creepy, creeper" thing. Basically, that is any guy that is attracted to her, but isn't her "type."

If there's any one single factor influencing why more women aren't going out, it's got to be the economy being in a slump. Most hot women don't touch online dating because they don't have to. They've got social circles filled with guys throwing themselves at them, plus random guys hitting on them on a daily basis.

While this may be in the case in the US, in Europe, clubs are still perfect for spending a Friday or Saturday night and meeting women. Usually when I go out I'll start drinking at a bar and try to meet some girls there, and then move on to the club when it opens (midnight around here). Girls in clubs are usually looking for something and are almost never there for a "girl's night out".

I've realized this as well. Which is why i just go to bars to have fun and hang out with friends, not meet girls. Though i do get to use lines on them for fun. For example, the other night a girl looked sad or depressed, so i walked up to her and said, "Excuse, I just had a question. You look like you're about to kill yourself, can i fvck you first?" She was disgusted lol

No I actually do try and offer helpful advice. Is it wrong that I find it entertaining laugh at a virgin too myself, then tell him what steps he needs to take in the right direction? I want to HELP other guys get laid not inhibit.
