assuming you know how much you should be tipped based on how well you think you did your job is not acceptable.
a tip is something that is a gift.
if i think you did a good job i will tip what i want.
if you did a great job, i might tip you more.
if you did a sucky job, im not tipping at all .

i used to be a waitress , i remember how hard the job is and i remember another waitress not doing crap but wanted all the tips.


call her manager and then call coporate and tell them you ate there and this chick took your change . dont give your name unless you have to because shes probally doing this crap to lots of folks not just you, deserves to be fired and doesnt deserve to know who ratted her out. if she knows, she will blame you.

There is no chance that this girl is going to give you some, and I'm pretty sure she won't be hanging out with you anytime soon. Who cares how much money was lost....the fact is your friend let a girl tell him what he needed. You don't just let someone take your money like that....it's principle, not amount. Chances are she lost what little respect (and I mean, very little) respect she had for your friend at that point....she walked on him, even if he says otherwise.

I went to a bar a couple of weeks ago. There were a lot of people waiting to order drinks, so I told a girl I know to order me a beer with my creditcard.

I was standing next to her, waiting, when the bartender gives me the reciept to sign.

On the reciept I could see that he billed me for the beer, but also for a $10-drink. I told him i'm not supposed to pay, but he couldn't help me.

I told the girl to quit fvcking around, appologize and give me my money back. She said she would go to the ATM to withdraw $10 for me.

I saw her walking away from the bar, heading across the street towards the ATM, but then just walked by.

Okay, I don't give a damn about that $10, but what I do care about is the attitude. I don't care weather I get my 10$ back, the bartender made a mistake or if the girls intentions were to get a free drink - but that last thing really pissed me off.

Anyways - there's only one thing you can do: Don't let it happen again!
