Wanting to snoop and doing it are two different things. Respect for your boundaries and personal stuff should take precedence. Having no respect for either of those should be a major red flag. If she would ask to see something that is different. Again why do it? Why go digging?

what is it about the snooping that is so upsetting. i dont think its the actual snooping. i mean, lets be honest, most people either 1) would snoop if they could or 2) even if they dont snoop would still feel an overwhelming urge to snoop.
i mean, curiosity is normal. i gotta be honest, although i have never snooped, i cant honestly that the urge to do so hasnt been highly strong at various times.
the only reason i dont snoop is that i trust my instincts. I trust them so much that when my spidey senses are going on all the time i just walk away. i dont worry about what was actually going on - all i know is that im behaving reasonable and the realationship is going south and my spidey senses are buzzing - so i walk.
but back to the snooping. i think whats really at the core of this is power. we hate snooping when its done to us because it upsets the balance of power. we also have the desire to snoop for the same reason.
she now has seen parts of you that you didnt want to her to see. she has seen more of your cards than you have seen of hers. she knows it and you know it. on a psychological level she has more power than you now.
likewise, the desire to snoop is about getting the edge on your other. its about catching a glimpse of who they are that they dont want to show you. its about seeing their cards and having that extra insight that makes it easier for you to outsmart them in an argument, or more easily manipulate them to do what you want.
the best thing to do if someone snoops on you like in this scenario is to blow it off. like with this woman, id have said 'look, those are my thoughts and im entitled to them. how dare you get upset with me for that. if you're looking for some robot who doesnt h ave normal human thoughts and emotions then go get one. but don't you ever raise your voice at me again when ive done nothing wrong. and you should be ashamed of yourself for even trying to make this look like ive done anything wrong."

the disrespect for the boundaries is wrong. respect should be a two way street. man, you dont go rooting through her stuff and she should have the same respect. women think it is acceptable for them to do it because they are women (giggle giggle). they pull **** like that, excuse it on their gender, then demand to be treated as equals.

There are a bazillion pictures, and notes from other women detailing our exploits together, and love letters, and birthday cards and presents and art and videos and whatever else you can imagine.
And women EAT IT UP. You know why? Because it PROVES to them that I am who I say I am. It is one huge DHV and demonstration of congruency.
Plus, they see all these photos of hot women I've banged, and it sets the jealousy plotline going. Women are constantly aware of what they have to measure up to, both in the looks department and the fun / intelligence / empathy / morality departments. Keeps them on their toes so I don't have to.
Finally, it really works as a conveyor of dominance. For most girls, it is the biggest passive display of "alpha" qualities (i.e., 'this guy gets with a lot of women') that they have ever encountered.
It's just how I choose to live my life, 99% out in the open.

Yup, no need to hide much of anything. I have hundreds of party pics of me with dozens of different women. Why would I care if a chick found them on my computer? It's only gonna make her want me more.
