Actually, Bigjohnson never admitted being a sex tourist, that was english and sparky. The latter is now banned, great decision of the moderation team.

BJ is just some dude who thinks sex tourists are no different from sailors or businessmen who travel for work, some of whom may make use of prostitutes, but who did not go for that purpose. He has some weird posts, like thinking it's normal for old men to date teens, but he also has a good deal of normal posts. I'm pretty sure he is not a young guy though, he's at least late 30's.

Pretty good post there DC, actually I think "Sex Tourist" is a term invented by popular media and that almost zero percent of the people who go anywhere are so singleminded as the term implies. Therefore I reject it as a useful term in a reasonable conversation about people in general, although to apply it to a specific person well known to one is I suppose potentially reasonable. If so, then calling my Dad a warm-place-tourist should also be a Good Thing (tm) since he and mom like to go to Palm Springs or Baja ....
