Anyway, a little more chit chat, and at this point it sounds like she is bored. The kid no longer needs babysitting and she's tired of being cooped up in a big house all day by herself.

I'm curious to see what she's up to, but I'm not gonna turn into a distraction or a sympathetic ear.

I left the room mid IM, I come back and she signs off with "Gotta go watch suchnsuch show. Talk to you tomorrow!!!!"

THIS is why there is more than a grain of truth to the philosophy that you need to be DOING something when interacting with a woman. I don't want to be best buddies with her. I don't want to have long phone convo's. Hell, I'm not particularly interested in keeping regular contact. I'm just fascinated by the dynamic.

Sometimes my curiosity can be a pain in the ass....

Personnally I think your getting too involved with her by even responding - If this was me, i would never have returned her call - It is clear what she wants from the off-set - you dont need to pycho-analyze this -

If this was a women in a nightclub on the prawl - who was married, i'd have no problems, but this is an old flame, with past issues, past dramas and baggage and where ever this leads its not to disney land thats for sure.

Ha! The same thing happened to me last year when my first serious gf surprised me on myspace after 17 years with no contact. I knew immediately that she was up to something and didn’t buy her ‘just wanted to see how you were doing’ excuse. We were each others first sex and were together a long time, but I finally got smart and bailed as we were fighting all the time. Turns out she was still married to the rebound guy after me and had 3 kids. Kept going on and on about how happy she was and how great he was…lol. Okay, well, all bets are off. She straight up wants to FUKK.

Talked to her a couple of times on the phone, and apparently the hubby is lame, boring, "verbally abusive", etc etc. She needs to "find her soul" again. Wants to get a divorce but it "isn't the right time".

She tells me she wants to meet up for lunch but cancels (legit excuse). Sends me an email saying that she REALLY wants to meet me, but it can't be at my house because she "knows what will happen if we are alone" (blame shifting- now if I "take her" to my house it's my fault whatever happens). She is very paranoid about correspondence. I tell her not to worry, I am the only person with access to my computer. She says that she doesn't want "one of my other girls" to find any emails/IM's and have it get back to hubby. Says that it's good that I am careful and discreet, since I might "need to be" one day. She elaborates by saying that she knows what will happen when we meet up....

Women. I could write a fukking novel. This sh!t is better than fiction.

I think you should let this one go. You already hit that when she was younger, more attractive, and had far less baggage. Leave it at that.

If, instead of enabling this behavior, you decided to shun her based on her morally reprehensible actions, that would send a clear message to her that such actions are met with disgust and not sympathy. Not to say that it's your (or anybody's) duty to teach her lesson, but it gives some insight into why women stray as much as they do; they get REWARDED for it.

Stick to the younger girls--be the STR8UP we know and love. They have far less baggage and don't necessarily require commitment. Even if you don't believe in "quality girls," you can objectively judge this one as less than desirable.

I don't see it that way at all. There is no "culture that rewards married women for infidelity". Fukking is a biological imperative for both males sexes. Humans are only semi-monogamous animals (there is plenty of research that has been done to support this, with more coming out all the time).

See, in the grand scheme of things, as far as NATURE itself is concerned (all other factors aside), the guy who fukks the most women WINS. There is no distinction between married or non married as far as the perpetuation of the species goes. Matter of fact, the guy who inseminates a woman who is being "supported" by another man is the "winner" of the genetic lottery. Save the boos and hisses...I'm just the messenger. And no, I don't plan on inseminating ANYONE anytime soon.

So as far as I'm concerned, I'm not perpetuating evil, I am participating in the natural order of things. A lot of these conceptions you have about fidelity and such are not beneficial to you as an individual, they are beneficial to a larger group that is trying to control you.

As much as we would like to bend and shape nature to fit our own agendas at any given time, it isn't going to happen. The world is going to unfold around you and you can either choose to accept it and use it to your benefit, or you can establish a moral high ground and crusade to make changes that will never happen. Actually, this remains to be seen. From her facebook pic she looks a lot like she did when I was dating her (facewise). She was never a "10", but she has made money off her looks in the past. As far as I can tell she's been working with a personal trainer for awhile and was on the cover of a local magazine recently, so it sounds like she's held up pretty well.
