I have to join the WTF are you talking about crowd? The OP did EXACTLY what this site preaches. He played it cool in every situation, never showed his emotions, and it paid off.

Colossus - On the mechanics, we were all pretty drunk. It wasn't really very structured. One of the girls is a bit shy shy and pretty much did what we told her to. The other girl is more confident about what she wants (it wasn't her first 3 some) so to be honest she was more in control than me, really cos I was enjoying letting her do her thing. But still they both did stuff when I told them too. I had some things on the wish list to tick off so to speak. So there were times where there was 3 way contact, but also times where all three of us spent some time watching the other 2. I really don't think that would have worked if I'd been in a relationship with one of the girls - as is the set-up I've tried and failed so many times to arrange - because obviously someone would have felt insecure/jealous/left out. But it was just really relaxed and laid back. The drunkenness is one of the reasons we've talked about a repeat event. I wasn't exactly on top form, it will be good to get a chance to do it again but better.

Really just posting this to try and analyze how this ended up happening after 15 years of failure.
