No I'm not taking a nasty crap.:)

I just killed my depression through positive self-talk and now I walk and dress more confidently and will actually to people now. I'll even occasionally show some emotion. However I still have very few friends and I would like to get invited to some parties so I can meet some girls and get some connections. Also I need a way to make my voice more stable, I usually trail off and lower it when I'm talking to people quickly. Just push me off the diving board, its clearly the best way to learn how to swim :) .

1. Wanna meet more people and make more friends? Talk to more people. Talk to them about what they are interested in, be a nice guy, chuck a bit of humour in here and their and then high school will be your oyster.

2. To change your voice just relax. Breath using your belly rather than your chest, do this conciouslty for a while and it will start to come naturally. After this begin conciously choosing your voice tone.

I just have to comment on the "breath using your belly" thing. While you are on the right track, there is a lot more to it than that. It's not exactly breathing using your belly. Most people breathe using the upper part of their lungs, and the breathe doesn't last too lung when it flows through this part. You have to learn how to breathe using the lower part of your lungs. Once you can do that, you only need a little air and it will last a long way. It also starts to make your voice more resonate. In order to do this, you have to develop really good control of the diaphram, the large flexible muscle that is underneath the lungs that allows you to expand and contract your lungs. This is what opera singers do and is one of the reasons why their voices can be so powerful and resonate and can project so far. You also have to be very relaxed. There are pressure points just where your spine meats your neck and about in the middle of the back that, if they become tense, will prevent your voice from being as resonate as it can be. There are also holes in your head where sound resonates through and you have to learn to "push" the sound out of those holes.

Of course this will never happen overnight, you have to practice at it a LOT. But it will allow you a lot of control in what tone of voice you want to use and how powerful and resonate you want it to be.

I do breathe through my diaphram and am always relaxed, I just need to be able to project my voice quickly and while walking.

LOL no you don't breathe THROUGH the diaphram. The diaphram goes up and down. Up to contract and down to expand. And you have to concentrate on the breath going to the lower part of the lungs, not the upper. If you're doing it really well you can put your hands on the lower part of your back and really feel it expanding and contracting a lot. Probably if you're trailing off towards the end of sentences it could be two things. Number 1 is lack of confidence. Number 2 you're running out of breath, so you need to work on the deep breathing thing more.

I think this is more of a number one problem :( . I'm a swimmer and don't really run out of breathe.

I got a girl this weekend :D No hook-up (due to c0ck-blocking) just feeling each other up. She broke her leg and I made jokes about how useless she was now. Also, at night outside I asked if she generated body heat and (sometimes it pays to have no jacket.)
