Ok. Don't get me wrong. I know I was harsh, and I don't expect everyone to "be a hero." All I'm looking for is a little intellectual consistency.
I know guys who are very smart, but who trip over their own feet, and couldn't pass a field sobriety test SOBER, but who have heart, and would do whatever they could to help a stranger in peril. I know other guys who know they're physically useless, and think it would be pointless for them to even try to help, and may even freely admit they'd be too scared to try. I have no problem with either of those positions. They wouldn't make me comfortable, personally, but I respect self-awareness and honesty much more than false bravado.
Anybody can say anything, what's irked me about the contemporary mindset is the "f uck that b itch" mentality, when it comes to young, attractive girls, as if they are less worthy of tapping the brakes for than any other random stranger crossing the street. I realize there isnt universal agreement on this, but I've heard some pretty gross, disturbing sentiments, on the extreme nexus where incel meets PUA.
On the public couples disputes, I've had to break up and disperse more than I care to think about, and I hope I never have to do it again. I'd almost rather break up a knife fight between two men(who knows though...they could be lovers, too). 9/10 times the woman is the instigator, and the poor haggard guy is actually happy for someone to make it stop. That's if she's really making a scene, not just having an argument or bickering. Usually, the woman is trying to get someone to feel sorry for her, or trying to humiliate/manipulate her bf/hubby, or just has absolutely no self-control. I have never actually encountered a situation where a man was literally giving a woman a public beatdown. Typically, if anything he's trying to push her away, maybe a chokehold, to restrain her, out of frustration. I witnessed one guy who was actually in what looked like the early stages of a catfight with his gf, but he was a prettyboy and a p ussy, who had no stomach for a physical encounter with a man, but seemed comfortable fighting with a woman...in PUBLIC.
I suspect most guys who actually beat up their wives and GFs have better sense than to do it in public. Usually, the women are the ones you have to watch out for...unless you're the type of dumba ss who manhandles another guy's girl...then you might hafta watch'em both.
I only brought up the extreme, which I've never actually seen, of the man beating the crap out of the woman, because I would have to treat that situation the same as a grown man beating up a child, or an elderly person, or headstomping an unconscious/helpless man.
The blindspot for these girls, though, troubles me. I don't care what anyone says, they're just children, spoiled children. And if your brat's throwing a tantrum, and you can't enforce discipline, ya gotta go.
