Basically, I'm in an LTR with a great girl and I don't want to lose her.

Now the thing is that my best friend is also a girl. I've known her for 15+ years and we're like kids together. Would you believe we're both in our 30s and we can spend hours together playing Lego!! We had so much fun building Star Wars battleships in lego and destroying them, etc. We also play the heck out of our Wii U at each other's houses and we binge watch anime and we can talk for hours and hours about Dragon Ball

Anyway a few years ago (before I met my gf), me and that female friend had sex. There had never really been anything sexual between us before then but it just sort of happened, we were playing a game and for fun we looked up cartoon porn of that game's characters and I guess it was late we just ended up feeling like it. We had sex 2 more times after this and then we just kept our friendship going as if nothing had happened and we went back to playing legos and (believe it or not) Gi-Joes and watching anime and Sci-Fi movies.

We never had any discussion about the few times we had sex, we basically just pretend it didn't happen and we never touched each other at all since then. That's fine by me, I just enjoy the friendship she's the only person with whom I can be a child again and I miss this she's the kind of friend I had when I was a kid and you just don't have friends like that in adulthood anymore sadly.

Anyway so since I've met my gf I've kept hanging out with my friend and my gf was fine with it but sometimes I felt she thought me and the friend were a bit too close for comfort - she didn't say it directly but I kind of felt it

Now that my gf has moved in with me, I'm wondering what I should do... I like that friend a lot, but I'm starting to wonder if it's realistic to keep both the friend and the girlfriend at this point but ideally they both represent something for me that I really enjoy

My friend doesn't have a boyfriend btw, she had a few over the past few years but nothing really serious.

Yes keep doing what you're doing. Your friend knows that she's just your friend and that you don't want to be her boyfriend.

Why are you worried about what she thinks so much?

I'm more concerned with the fact that you have let your gf move in with you. BIG mistake unless you're planning on marrying her in the next year.

I once thought it was a great idea to cohabitate before marriage but believe me, it isn't.

Back to your question - How would you feel if your girlfriend was hanging out alone with a guy 'friend' that she once banged?

That's why I hate "relationships" they break apart friendships and sometimes even family

Big, big mistake letting your gf move in with you.

Relationships come and go, friends usually stay forever. You don't have to drop your friend completely. You just have to adjust how you interact with her now.

Now THAT'S a sweet deal. A friend you can have occasional no strings attached sex with. Doesn't matter what she looks like since there's no word of commitment. You can fvck her at night, and never have to give her public affection for her to feel validated.

But you have a GF and she's living with you.

Always remember this... If your gf starts being a pain in the ass and ends up taking away from your happiness, you can always go fvck your friend and avoid the female drama bull5hit.

Keep both women in your life.

your friend sounds absolutely fantastic and awesome, i wish i had a female friend half that good.

also, it seems like you vastly prefer the friend to your gf since you sang your friends praises for a few paragraphs but barely mentioned your gf, so i'd say keep on truckin' and if your gf makes you pick, pick the friend

You lucky bastard, I'm so envious.

You know, if your girlfriend starts taking away your happiness, then she isn't worth the trouble. And like El Payaso said 'Relationships come and go, friends usually stay forever.' I agree, especially when your friendship can last for 15+ years (I mean holy fvcking sh!t that's a LONG ass time, damn).
