I avoid them even if its for a ONS. The last thing I want to do is reinforce their sloppy lifestyle by sexually validating them in any way. Imagine if all men did this, dating would be a hell of a lot easier.

Not to burst anybody's bubble, but there's more women than men in North America. In fact we are the largest country with more women, then it's Brazil and Russia. China and India are most of the reason there's more men overall. Anyways the only thing you could argue is that there's more guys under 24, but after that it starts to drop off considerably. Also if you live anywhere except the mountain states there's going to be more women. So I will shoot that excuse down right away.

When it comes down to it, a girl below a 5 is by definition ugly. So mathematically half the girls should fall into that category. Then to top it off, fat/ugly chicks are selling and desperate guys are buying. You can throw in the increasing obesity numbers but it shouldn't affect if you find someone attractive. No fatties = no fatties. It's probably not as bad as you think it is, but you notice it more because it sticks in your mind. Just like if you think "wow there's a lot of [enter race here] in this place" when it's really less than 10% of the people there.

Long story short: stick to your standards, step your game up, and the rest will fall into place. Dumpster diving during dry spells isn't doing yourself any good. You'll start to think it's okay, and it will become your backup plan after each HB you fail with. Before you know it you'll be one of those guys too.

I think NY is a special case...more single women than men. A walking city, so people are supposed to be at least in decent shape. More competition for the finance/business guys. The way it should be!

I don't know what it is with people here thinking NY has lots of single women. Believe me, take it from a guy who lives here, who hangs out in the Manhattan limelight weekly; it is NOT true at all. It is partially responsible for why I do ridiculously poor. Stop listening to studies that were conducted 5-10 yrs ago, which supposedly claimed NY had more single women than guys. When I say 98% of the time I go to clubs, 98% of the time, these hot women are with guys, whether it be there f*ck buddy, platonic friend, or boyfriend. Come here and see for yourself.

Perhaps I'm hanging out in the wrong places, as it's been suggested to me here by one or two people, but I can't see how two areas can be that different from each other in terms of the amount of single people. Why would one area be a "couples" area, and the other a "singles" area? It doesn't make sense. Clubs are clubs, bars are bars, they should be attracting equally the same amount of singles and couples.

Yet it's frustrating cause if she trimmed up she would be a dime piece ! She's not fat though....I'd hate it to reach that point though cause I'd have to let her go...as I'm very into training and eating healthy.

It's a damn shame I tell ya when you see cuuuute ass chics who are overweight like a mutha******a! women who are fat are perceived as being easier to get so they will most likely get guys approaching them with more confidence.... and so - more guys approach and more are successful....

same goes for women with bubbly/flitacious personalities. Girls who flirt with just about anyone. It really doesn't matter what they look like - guys will feel more confident around them and want to be with them.

just be happy you have standards (hopefully). i know i am disgusted by the appearance of at leasy 60% of women i see on a daily bases....
