Not true. I've been extremely social for the past ten years. I've been going to the dream hardcore and have a strong diet. I think "ignore her" is worse than going up and telling her you have a huge crush on her. Seriously. Even though you'll probably not get anywhere, at least you'll feel like you manned up and took SOME action, and weren't just the guy pretending to text someone and looking cool.

I hearby decide that I hate all "ignore her" type of advice. Planned inaction is crap, and probably always transparent. Nobody just 'ignores' somebody like that. Maybe you chat for a bit and then run off to do something . . or start talking to someone else, cool. But that pre-planned exclusion of someone always makes me feel like the biggest toolbag.

The ignore tactic is ineffective because women have caught on to why you're doing it. Women aren't stupid. They know every trick of the trade, as they deal with men constantly. You're not going to win if you ignore them. Sometimes it will work, as I've had it happen, but most times, you're just f*cking yourself over.

Yeah, but you're NEVER going to learn anything from just messaging a girl once and giving up. It's just going to keep on happening and happening. Trust me, man. My first year of college I had a roommate who always got girls and my last year of college I had a (completely unrelated) roommate who always got girls. I learned from them that you have to be assertive and aggressive.

Its been proven time and time again that if you continue to chase the girl it will only make her not want you more. Most girls are attention *****s and if you give them attention they get bored. You become the weird stalker guy that they brag to their little friends about.. If you get a girls number and she is interested in you , she will pick up that phone even if she is with her friends or she is busy. Seriously man its like the freaking twilight zone....I was raised to think that we men should feel bad for being shallow about a girls looks....but if anything men are way more forgiving of womens' flaws than vice versa.


Its not being shallow to expect your women to hold yourself to some level of reasonable attractiveness and attitude. If all men would stop chubby chasing and demand their women look at least presentable maybe the obesity epidemic in this country would end as we know it.

I know that. I was just saying that sending a girl one message then moving on is just going to keep getting you the same results. It has gotten me the same bad results for almost ten years and lots of approaches. I think you should be more aggressive then just one message. But I will agree that you should be aggressive to multiple girls at once and not just go for one girl at a time and I think you should give up on a particular girl after about two weeks or so (while still going for other girls during those two weeks of course).

I feel I have to point out in this thread that what one calls "fat" is not "fat" to another, it's a very personal thing. Also, it has to do with age to a certain extent. For example: a girl I would consider "fat" when I was 18, I might now consider just a little chubby.

I'm not saying the OP's (and others') observation about fat chicks getting much more d*ck than one would assume is untrue! I just think it's important to realize that one guy's definition of "fat" is different from another guy's definition of "fat" and the seeming consensus in this thread might turn out much lower when we take this factor into the equation...
