Because she isn't going to change. So if she cheated before, had 1000 male orbiters before, was a black hole financially before, was physically violent before, etc. etc. - it's not whether it will happen again but when it will happen again. Women (and really people generally speaking) very rarely, if ever change. So it is good information to have. Maybe it is irrelevant (such as if you are going to keep her as just a plate, you may not care she ran her ex-husband's finances into the ground), but knowing too much never hurt anything.

The study was made by The University of Utah if Im not mistaken. If you are d1ck number 5 or less, she has better chances of a happy marriage. If you are d1ck number 6 or higher, happy marriage is gonna be an uphill battle according to statistics.

I also think the reason behind the notch count also matters..If reason behind her 4 notch counts is divorce bcoz she wanted cheap thrills or she selected an "abusive" partner or something like this or did her previous partner die or left her bcoz of her nagging, etc...

So not only the notch count should be low but also the reasons should be valid and genuine..

Past action is a principal indicator of future behavior.

People can temporarily change but there will always be an emotional force that pulls them back to their steady state, forged in while growing up, early adulthood, and cultural upbringing.

As long as effort is applied, change can be maintained, but this force is a function of emotional motivation, desire for gain, or fear of pain. If this can be done and maintained over time, behavior modification can become a habit.

The best analogy I can make is someone that had been a lazy fat @ss their whole lives, then one day they decide being a 400 lb land whale that runs out of breath walking to the frig, isn't how they want to live their lives and starts a program of diet and exercise. If they keep this up long enough where they start to see positive (gain) results (usually 3 months) and they keep this up and this becomes a habit, they can change. But ANY set back at all can, and will, pull them back like a spring to who they are. Real change only happens when a person goes through a significant emotional event which provides the motivation to avoid pain and change.

Change is an individual pursuit... There in NOTHING anyone other than the individual can do to spur change. This is why marriage counseling, drug and alcohol treatment, prison, or any effort to compel change works unless the individual WANTS to change.

That's not necessarily true.

I was not very fiscally responsible in my mid to late 20s but am highly fiscally responsible now.

People are always changing, it's one of the reasons why people drift apart in relationships, two people start changing in opposite directions.
