It's official: David D has lost it. He's out of touch with life now. His latest column is the best example of this:

I'm not saying that he's completely lost it, but his reply is on shaky ground. Let's look at it.
- EVERY girl is available (to me at least). A boyfriend is an obstacle that can be overcome. That is because we are all only in relationships until someone better comes along, more true of men than women.
- Giving a shoulder to cry on is the WORST advice ever. David D is advocating BEING THE REBOUND GUY! Excuse me? This goes against ALL DJ principles!
(Of course there are exceptions, but here we will assume no red flags. If they are there, forget her)
He's advocating being persistant - which is fine - but in an AFC manner. And a DJ here would fvck her, make her his, or forget about her.
David D, you have lost my respect. Good look to the surgeon who has to cure your right arms Repetitive Strain Injury...

His recent articles have all included a celebrity in the title. There is no proof that celebrities are better DJs than any of us. An AFC celebrity would still be very successful with women.Would Jude Law Give a Hoot If She Had a Boyfriend?
Sorry, but ten years ago, good advice. Now EVERYONE worth knowing has a mobile ("cell") phone, and use them more than they do the home phone. He needs to keep with the times. And you didn't just ask for her home phone number and got out of there...
We exchanged telephone numbers...
An extra chance. If she rings you, thats even better than you calling her - of course, you should get hers first and foremost. Never just give her yours, but exchanging can be useful. But why are you giving this hottie your phone number?
Proof he's lost it. This paragraph is the worst I've ever seen written. I'd expect more from an AFC with five posts whos never been on a date.My friend, the girl has to be available. I hate to have to inject such a heavy dose of truth into your life in one sentence, but she has to be available. And this girl is not available. Still, you made a good contact. So what we're going to do is try and figure out a way -- if this boyfriend of hers takes a dive in the next couple of months -- to be there to pick up all the pieces.

Because you are better than him, perhaps? A DJ should only worry about his girlfriend cheating if he isn't fulfilling her in the relationship, which is unlikely - as we are DJs.Another possibility is that she's just being disloyal, and for you that's not a good thing. Because what makes you think she wouldn't be disloyal to you somewhere down the line?
(Of course there are exceptions, but here we will assume no red flags. If they are there, forget her)
Oh yes she is. See above. If shes not available, why have many of us stole girls before? Pathetic.Emanuel, you wouldn't pursue a girl who's in a serious relationship with someone else because she's not available
He's completely ignoring the complexities of things. He could equally go for the no strings sex option if he can get it, but this isn't explored. Interesting. The goal is not to be able to date Carmen -- that's where you're wrong, dude. If you start pressuring her for a date, she'll say "I have a boyfriend -- I told you that, didn't I?" and you're dead in the water before you even get started. So what you're going to do is this: you're going to call her every two weeks. Hopefully she'll call you back in between, and you'll set up a coffee date...
