Last night I was playing drinking games at a friend's house and one of the girls who I had hung out with a few times started calling me a bi*ch. She was like, "why are you being such a bi*ch tonight? you really need to stop being a bi*ch." I don't really understand what she was trying to do. I tried to keep my cool and let it roll off my back by reframing it to myself that she was attracted to me and that she was just "testing me." But after the 3rd or 4th time I calmly asked her if she wanted to meet the back of my hand. That shut her up for 10 minutes, but then she started up again! Should I have just treated her like a brat and told her to sit in timeout instead of saying something kind of violent? What do you guys do when a girl is trying to embarass you in public? I understand that she "won" because I let her get to me, but how do I NOT let her get to me?

she is either Immature and is trying to test you in the stupidest way I can think of... I forgot who said it but throw it back at her verbally, don't threat physical harm because she will expect you to follow through, and will provoke you until you do hit her, so just don't name physical harm at all (this girl seems like trouble... how old are you?)
or she is a piece of garbage and knows you aren't garbage and is going to provoke you for being happy.
I've been in both situations and I dropped both girls, be cautious, these types of girls are the ones who will make your life hell if you don't send them there first.

You would have been in a much better situation if you would have said that out loud what you thought deep inside. In every action there is a natural reaction. You could have turned the tables on her and made her seem like the fool.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.
