I hate the old "i use it to keep in contact with friends" excuse. No, you're using it for attention. Friends have your e-mail address and phone number if they want to contact you, and you have theirs.

That's pretty ignorant of a comment, I'm not going to prove myself but I am gonna let you know something:

I've got nearly 400 friends on my AIM buddy list, of which I know about 360 of them well (the rest are from when I used to sell and trade **** online when I was younger), do you really think that I could communicate to them all with my cell phone and email?

On myspace I have like 230 friends, after deleting all the people I didn't know, now I only have about 5 I don't know (2 of which are DJs, not don juans, disc jockeys), the rest I all know from way back, I even have a friend I haven't seen in like 4 years up there which I'm really glad I got to talk to him again seeing as how I lost his # and address.

So please, it's only dangerous for fools who have nothing better to do, but don't talk about something you don't know, it makes you look ignorant man, and you don't want that do you?

Lol, meditate. I guess if you're into that type of stuff you could do that.

Really though, I don't see while people say its such a huge waste of time. It takes about 30 seconds to log on, see whats up, if any parties are going on that night, any messages, and log off. It's not that hard. Besides you can miss out on parties and ****, it's not all that complicated.

Just because it's cool to hate, doesn't mean
you should. It just depends what you use it
for. I see no problem in using it purely as
a social networking tool. It has groups
of certain interests where people can talk
about stuff they're into, you can hook up
with people into particular music, find out
about events etc.

Just because you CAN use it to add tons
of random people you don't know and leave
pointless comments on their profile page,
you can't just hate myspace for it. People
use condoms to prevent unwanted
replication, but there's always gonna be
the n00bs that put it over their head,
blow it up and start making stupid faces.

Like I said, it's all about how you use it.

I really need to delete myspace and facebook. Not because they are messing up my DJ moves, but because they consume too much of my time. They both are a pathetic last ditch hope of meeting women each day. I always check just to see if wonder woman has found me and sent me a message. Its pathetic, I know.

So don't delete it, do something MORE challenging. People just hop from one excuse to the next, what you need to do is EMBRACE and TRANSCEND weakness.

So here's what you do, everytime you feel an "urge" to log onto myspace, do a push up. Every single ****ing time. Just one single push up. It may not seem like alot. But instead of loggin on when you keep having these urges, you'll be doing something GOOD for your body. Then you'll start to enjoy the pushups and how good you feel. And you know what, POOF, myspace won't be a dependency thing. However, if you simply delete it then you'll find something NEW to blame failure on. so instead, use your weakness as a strength, these are hte beginning steps to improvement.
