i just got his e-books 2 days ago and i already read all but 1 and am half way though that one. this stuff is good but i think to get the full meaning you have to read attentivly and not be distracted. the stuff he talks about is eye opening and a good chang of veiws. he seem to say everything you need to know but deliver it in an interestingly different way.

My personal experience with David DeAngelo’s Material.

1st time reading his material: Think to myself: yeah right, this is B.S.

-then 2 months field experience…

2nd time reading his material: Think to myself: this guy might be onto something…

-then a few months of field experience using stuff from his ebook & advanced series, getting much better results.

3rd time reading his material: Think to myself: damn, this guy really knows his sh1t.

I noticed his stuff is all about how you think about it.

If you are closed minded and think that you know all about how women and social relationships work with them you will not get anything out of his material. For example I have a friend I introduced his material to and he was just like "yeah right, I am not going to go make an a$$ of myself to impress a woman" and I was like "what part of this stuff works don't you understand? you arent making an as$ of yourself to women when you do this, you are making yourself more attractive"

Another thing is you have to believe you can change the way you are in terms of your personality. Again, if you don't think you can be more outgoing or sociable or have more of whatever it is you're lacking and no amount of working on it will help you, then again this material isn't for you. That same friend who said the above also said that personalities can't change and he isn't very outgoing or direct with people (shy type) so he will never be able to be anything different.

So if you're attitude is anything like my friend's, foget about it, just become a priest or subscribe to porn because thats probably going to be all you'll get with that kind of attitude.

On the other hand if you are willing to let go of some ideas that you've been conditioned with and see things for what they are in reality then this stuff is for you.

When listening to his Double Your Dating lecture thing I caught myself going "yeah I notice that!" or "that's totally happened to me!" and other things like that in my head, cause I could see where he's going with this.

I can recognize bad advice right away, or advice that doesn't conform to reality. And DeAngelo's stuff was RIGHT ON how it is, I don't think a single statement he said was off in any noticeable way where it just struck me as "no way, that's a lie" or "no way, thats not how things are"

To my friend though who has this whole other worldview of women (and hasn't ever had a gf himself) his stuff seemed like total b.s. because he thought he knows better.

I just saw whole 6 parts of his seminar. (A 12 hour course) And I just wanna say that the guy (and his friends) knows what they are doing. You can say whatever you wish but the sh_t he talks about do seem to work.

David D is not a fraud...he emphasis's C & F which is good however guys often misinterpret C&F and end up insulting the girl and then ask why it didnt work.

Calling a girl a retarded baboon is not C &F heard two guys trying to be C &F but they got blown out straight away. U get what I mean ?

Also mix C&F with things about yourself. c &f is the spice to a conversation and not the be all end all.

david deangelo is basically a starters kit it gives u an idea what u should be doing and gives u a background to work with. i used his stuff and go pretty far. now ive out grown him and its time to move on to different mentors, currently it is sosuave.net articles and some discussion topics on here. but u cant stick to david forever or u will never meet ur potential. i start all my afc friends on david and they all are growing well. soon a few of them will reach a new level and wont need david like me. so i hope u guys understand that david is really important especially for this site

One of the biggest reasons why some people fail at this is because they got the wrong delivery. They tense up and say something that is ****y and funny but the way they say it with little confidence and a lot of shyness makes it come off as just ****y or just funny.

And then when they don't get the reaction they want they are already too nervous and shaken by the material failing that they make another stupid mistake.

Then after butchering a ton of jokes and chances and being too nervous to get any of this stuff right they come to various forums and talk about how David DeAngelo's stuff sucks.


Well let me tell something to all of you, PRACTICE your lines in front of a mirror. Get it to the point where its almost automatic. When you say these lines pretend you are looking a girl right in the eye and practice your deilvery as in your tone of voice, hand gestures, and other things until you are able to do this from memory without thinking about it the way you want it.

A good starting point for rehearsing is to try to play the role of David D and deliver the stuff with the same voice patterns and body language he does in the video, as if you are re-enacting the video. See if you can master that.

I read this newsletters and i've gone through a few of his materials and listened to a few mp3s.. and the thing that strikes me odd is how much he preaches ****y and funny... but the examples he gives are sooooo lame and not remotely funny and i can't even picture myself saying that stuff in public and I say some pretty stupid things and don't have much shame.

Well a lot of stuff is context based. In the context of listening to a lecturer trying to teach you how to be ****y & funny with a girl this stuff seems kind of lame but when you are in the moment this stuff can be gold.

Its kind of like cold reading and doing psychic readings, when you read a transcript of a part of a reading you can see that the "psychic" can get away with a lot of lame crap and still come off as amazing because the context is right and also the delivery is right for that context.


Its true though that if you've seen his lecture series, read his book, and been on the newsletter a while you pretty much reach a limit of his advice and it starts sound the same YET at the same thing you realize to yourself that YOU ARE STILL NOT DOING IT.

I don't even try to help dudes around town that i know anymore. They're all shocked that i refuse to buy girls drinks and stuff. I just get "you're an *sshole to women" and they laugh but strangely enough i'm the one who goes from one woman to the next and they all wonder why they try to date 50 and can't get beyond one date IF SHE EVEN SHOWS UP.

Didn't mean that it doesnt work but he gives poor examples like most of his celebrity based jokes. They make me shudder when i read them in his newsletters.

When i do C&F (don't even think about it) i lean more towards ****y/mean than funny. But i'm typically goofy and funny enough other times to make up for it so the girl is left wondering "was he serious or being a dumbass again? why can't i stop thinking about it???"

I'm probably goofier/weirder than DeAngelo or anyone recommends but i get away with it just fine so i don't care.

THAT one is just FANTASTIC!

I must admit im not 100% convinced with DD's material. I have learnt a few things from it but after trying some of the techniques I just feel that it is too canned. The mindset is the most important part but really that can be learnt here.

Im also sceptical about the honesty that is contained in his material, afterall he is a businessman and is looking to do anything to sell his product. There have been quite a few discussions i have seen which suggest the whole e-mail side of double your dating is fake and just a marketing ploy.

I have no interest in becomming the perfect DJ by reading tons of books and soaking up lots of audio information because everyday I see afc's getting girls and I have figured that now I know the mindset and the core of what a DJ is i will never be used or ****ed over by a girl without being fully aware much unlike a lot of my best friends who continually act in a pussio way.

I had never had any sucess in my life with girls but now I have plenty, im more cheeky than C and F, I just use what works for me and not a load of canned stuff which is preached and recorded.

Davie D isn't that great himself, I don't think. He has a nerdly sense of humor. His friends, and other guys that he interviews are much more suave. He really is the brains of the operation, though.

Of course it is. All the examples he gives are hypothetical, or someone else's concepts distilled into his seminars. He admits himself that he didn't come up with this stuff, he just brought it all together.

Double your dating is junk. It's the beginner's manual, and his more advanced stuff blows it the hell away.

He emphasizes that the field is where the real learning is done, and not to become a "seminar junkie."

Again, his material is logical and verifiable. It's based on history, nature, and the thoughts of millionaire businessmen and guys that blow everyone here out of the water. Of course his stuff is canned, maybe if it was a reality show of him at the club you would be party to real spontenaity.

Try watching the videos, and some of the dudes that speak as guests. They're ****ing DRIPPING with DJ attitude. Your skepticism quickly fades when you see the faces behind the the audio/books.
