Ok, heres the lowdown,
theres a new girl at work who I quite like, we've been getting on pretty well, shes always very friendly/smily to me (although she is to most others, shes probably a bit of a sunshine girl), still I've decided shes worth trying to get busy with..
so I need an idea of a date to suggest, the problem is, she doesnt live in the same town as me, we both work in the town I live (which is pretty big, and where she goes out drinking/shopping and so on) but she actually lives in a smaller town a few miles away and drives to work..
I figure we know each other too well now to just suggest a simple daytime coffee date, but I don't know what to suggest for an evening date, because she'd have to drive which would mean she couldnt drink, unless she stayed over at mine but I can't assume thats going to happen before the date can I..
the other option is to do something after work, but she'd still need to get home somehow, plus since what we do is shift work, theres no guarantee we'd both finish at the same time anyway, even if we were both finishing together the chances are it would be after a closedown (I work in a pub) meaning it would be about 1am when we left work.... it all depends on the rota if we can get a 6 finish or something
I'm not sure what to do, normally I'd just say to her lets go for a drink sometime, get her number then arrange to meet up, but it seems too complicated to actually organise unless shes very very keen (ie shes happy to stay over). I dunno, I need to make a move within the next week or so though, I can already tell I'm in danger of slipping into LJBF territory if I spend too much time with her without trying something..
