So I'll try to summarize this story to not make it long winded...

Met a girl for drinks off of POF... She was 37.. Anyway she was semi attractive maybe like a 7.. So we go up to the bar, I order a beer and she orders a glass of wine. We talk for a bit and it seems like its going ok.... but then I could tell she lost interest at some point and because of her sudden break in conversation and her non reception to kino I also lost interest. She said had a lot of work to get done and had to get going soon (obvious sign of disinterest). She drank about half her wine and I asked her if she was going to finish. She said she was good and wasn't going to finish it.

So the check comes and its about 7 dollars for my beer and 10 dollars for her glass of wine.

Me: Ok, so we'll just split this
Her: oh I didn't go to the ATM machine today, I don't have any money sorry.
Me: That's ok, I'll wait I'm sure there's one close by
Her: Well its a date the guy is supposed to pay
Me: This didn't really work out
Her: I know but still the guy is supposed to pay
Me: I'll have the bartender give us 2 separate checks

Me: (calls bartender) give us 2 separate checks please, 1 for my beer and 1 for her wine

Her: No we aren't doing 2 separate checks... I'm leaving goodbye

So she ends up walking out of the place and leaving. I told the bartender I would only pay for my beer and thats what I did...

I would've never asked a girl to pay on the first date unless she's already paying for herself then I hold back but never let her pay for me. To be honest I've spent north of $50 on dates even though deep down I knew it isn't working.

I have immense RESPECT FOR OP if you actually stood your ground like you said you did.

Legally speaking if worse comes to worse and cops show up, even they wouldn't have had been able to make you pay since you are not "required" to pay for her.

Also, its better not to argue about it with her. Tell her ONCE you will not pay. Then say nothing else. Once a girl rejects you on a date she is basically a non-entity at that point. You know there is no sex or relationship in the future, so no further energy should be invested in her. Tell the waiter to bring separate checks. When she talks sh!t about not having money and blah, blah, blah.. say: "Ok".

This way, she believes you'll cave in and pay when the checks come like most beta faggots. She wont walk out. Once the TWO checks arrive, get any change you need before paying. Then stick your cash and tip into YOUR bill and walk it over to the bar / waiter (so she can't switch the money later). Then leave.

Same EXACT thing happened to me a while ago with a younger chick. She walked out, I told the waitress and manager what happened, said I would only pay for myself, and gave them her name and phone number. They said they were going to call the police and charge her with theft of service. I texted the chick a little while after and told her this, and eventually got a response saying she went back and paid.

because at $10 its not that big of a deal, get on with it, pay it, eat your pride, get over it. all i was saying is he probably wouldnt have got so upset about it if she had put out or something but because she decided she didnt like him she p1ssed off...**** happens. i would of just payed the $10 instead of looking like more of a jerk telling her to go to an ATM for $10 and because typically on dates the men pay for women, a $10 drink wouldnt have sent him broke. On the other side shes in fault too, she should of had cash on her and paid her own.
